Easy Mode Record: Bill, 1:08.3
Hard Mode Record: Bertie, 1:30.3

Once the Fat Controller has counted down from "3" to "GO" (and fired his gun), start moving to the right, move down, continue moving to the right, move up (there will be another engine, or green van for the case of Bertie moving back and forth here), continue moving to the right, move up, and move back onto the flashing red piece of track (or road) to get transported to the Bonus Stage; the text PICK UP LETTERS TO SPELL "BONUS" will then appear in your half of the screen (top for 1P, bottom for 2P). You'll then have to move from one siding to another to pick up all five letters, and be transported back to the main stage - and, once you have done this, continue moving to the right, move up, continue moving to the right over the sun-bent rails (or pothole, in the case of Bertie), stop at the water tower (or garage, in the case of Bertie) to refuel, continue moving to the right and stop at the barrier as a red flag appears. Once the barrier has lifted up, continue moving to the right (there shall be another engine, or green van in the case of Bertie, moving back and forth here), then cross the finish line at the station (or garage, in the case of Bertie); the text of "(CHARACTER NAME) LOSES" shall now appear, in the losing player's screen half, as the text of "(CHARACTER NAME) WINS. TIME X:XX.X" (X:XX.X being the winning player's time), appears in the winning player's screen half, and if the winning player had finished the course in less than 1:08.3 (in easy mode) or 1:30.3 (in hard mode), the text "IN RECORD TIME" shall appear above their time. However, any records that may get broken by the players are yet again only retained until the Commodore Amiga, Atari ST or MS-DOS is turned off; in the hard mode, the speeds of the other engines (or green vans, in the case of Bertie) will also be faster. so in a one-player game, the CPU could get ahead if they stun you - and it's also worth noting that if you, your CPU-controlled opponent or the other player run out of fuel the text "OUT OF FUEL" will appear in your (or their) half of the screen and you (or they) will automatically forfeit the race, even if they were only inches away from the finish line at the end.
