Welcome to StrategyWiki![edit]

Hello Kkk! Welcome to StrategyWiki. Thank you for your contributions. If you have any questions, just contact a sysop through their talk page or post on the staff lounge, and they'd be happy to help. If you need help editing, check the StrategyWiki Guide. If you have a question about the content on this wiki, you can check out our staff lounge page. If you want to ask questions or hang out in IRC, we're usually around. On the other hand, if you have ideas for StrategyWiki, bring them up on the forums.

Please remember to sign your name on, and only on, talk pages by clicking Wikisigbutton.png or using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. When making an edit, proofread your changes at least once by using the preview button below the editing box. Finally, please do your best to always fill in the edit summary field as this helps to document all of your hard work. Feel free to delete this message from your talk page if you like, or keep it for reference. Happy editing! -- Skizzerz 16:13, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

Image categorisation[edit]

When uploading images, please make sure to categorise them using the correct image categories and the guide-specific category, i.e. [[Category:MapleStory skill images]]. The image policy is viewable here, and contains all the information you'll need to categorise future uploads. --najzereT 16:25, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

This is your second warning to properly categorize your uploads. Please read the links in the message above and see this diff for reference. If you have any questions, be sure to ask here, on my talk page or elsewhere. — najzereT 17:22, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
This is your third warning to properly categorize your uploads. Make sure you put the appropriate categories in the Summary field when you upload images. Look at Image:MS Skill Final Toss.png for an example of what categories to use. Any further uploading without categorizing will result in a ban, so I hope you take this message to heart, read the links above and add good categories to your next uploads. — najzereT 15:14, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
Your latest uploads of Image:MS Skill Smart Knockback.png and Image:MS Skill Rolling Spin.png were uncategorized after multiple warnings, so you have been blocked for two hours. This isn't meant to stop you from editing, but hopefully will be a wakeup call for you, since from here on the bans get increasingly long and eventually they'll start to affect you. Just add the categories to your uploads, it's not that hard. — najzereT 20:25, 5 September 2009 (UTC)

Hi, you've been blocked again, this time for a full day for the same problem: you're not categorizing your image uploads. Although the blocks come after your uploads they're not meant to be punitive, but rather to prevent any continued disregard for our policies. Please take this time to review the image naming and categorization policy and if you have any questions feel free to bring them up here on your talk page. To avoid any further blocks, which will eventually escalate to an indefinite ban, please adhere to this policy by adding the correct categories to the summary field when you upload. Thanks, — najzereT 17:44, 18 December 2009 (UTC)

Easier editing[edit]

The Show preview button (right next to the Save page button) lets you see how your changes will look before saving the page. You can use Show preview as many times as you like until you get the page how you want it. You can also edit the whole page at one time, as opposed to by section, by clicking the Edit tab at the top of the page. Hopefully these little shortcuts will make it easier for you to get the desired result when you're editing, and save you a little time. Thanks for working on the wiki! — najzereT 17:44, 18 December 2009 (UTC)
