Welcome to StrategyWiki![edit]

Hello Matt64! Welcome to StrategyWiki. Thank you for your contributions. If you have any questions, just contact a sysop through their talk page or post on the staff lounge, and they'd be happy to help. If you need help editing, check the StrategyWiki Guide or visit the IRC channel to chat, we're usually around. On the other hand, if you have ideas for StrategyWiki, bring them up on the forums. To keep up-to-date with the goings on of the wiki, consider adding the noticeboard to your watchlist.

Please remember to sign your name when leaving comments on talk pages by clicking Wikisigbutton.png or using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to delete this message from your talk page if you like, or keep it for reference. Happy editing! — Prod (Talk) 23:25, 24 November 2011 (UTC)

Easier editing[edit]

The Show preview button (right next to the Save page button) lets you see how your changes will look before saving the page. You can use Show preview as many times as you like until you get the page how you want it. You can also edit the whole page at one time, as opposed to by section, by clicking the Edit tab at the top of the page. Hopefully these little shortcuts will make it easier for you to get the desired result when you're editing, and save you a little time. Thanks for working on the wiki! — Procyon 03:16, 25 November 2011 (UTC)

Image categorisation[edit]

When uploading images, please make sure to categorise them using the correct image categories and the guide-specific category, i.e. [[Category:Game Name images]]. Please see our image policy for more details. Thanks for helping to keep our images neat! — WarioTalk 19:54, 25 November 2011 (UTC)

All you need to add is [[Category:Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons]]. We have a screenshots category, but we don't have a sprites category. And we certainly don't categorize every instance of each item. If you could fix up the ones you already uploading by adding the proper category, and removing the incorrect one, you'd be saving our administrators a lot of trouble. Thanks. Enemies section[edit]

The enemies section you created was deleted since there is already an enemies section that has full details on all the enemies. Also, I've noticed you're uploading lots of images from another site. If they made those image, we cannot simply copy them without their permission, as they own the copyrights. I would suggest using the {{progress bar}} template instead of using those images. -- Prod (Talk) 18:20, 20 January 2012 (UTC)

When you attempted to add that link to enemies, did you happen to miss the giant Enemies heading already present in the Table of Contents? Furthermore, leaving childish comments like "I don't like you very much." on someone's talk page, let alone a sysops talk page, is not going to win you any favors. Contribute responsibly. Could you please work with us instead of fighting against us?[edit]

You can't use the meter GIFs, they don't belong to you, they belong to another website. They're all going to have to be deleted. Either put the tables back that I developed for you, or find some other way of describing the threat level, like with swords or something... 3 swords or 7 swords or whatever. You don't have to make the page look like some other websites. And if you don't change it, it's going to get changed later on by us anyway, so save us both the extra work and listen.
