Feel free to delete this message from your talk page if you like, or keep it for reference. Happy editing! -- Procyon (Talk) 12:59, 27 May 2008 (CDT)

X title[edit]

Hi Parrothead. Thanks for contributing the X guide. I appreciate your taking the time to think about the title of the guide. However, we usually only add disambiguation systems in the case when there is more than one instance of a game title for many systems, and the instances differ drastically from one another. My research shows that only this Game Boy game used the title X, so it would be safe to remove the disambiguation. At the very least, it could simply be retitled "X (Game Boy)" since the fact that it's a game is implied here. I'll talk with Prod and get his opinion. Procyon (Talk) 12:59, 27 May 2008 (CDT)

Moving pages[edit]

Just to let you know that /Controls is the standard sub-page name for controls pages here at StrategyWiki, and that does not change per-guide. Also, if a game has only been released for one system, adding in the system in the guide name as disambiguation is superfluous. As such, I reverted the two moves that you have made. I suggest you take a look at our StrategyWiki:Guide for some more info on the standards and policies we have here, and if you have any additional questions, feel free to use one of our many avenues of asking for help and discussing any changes you would like to see:

  • My talk page, if you wish to speak with me personally
  • The staff lounge, if you wish to ask questions to the general StrategyWiki community
  • Our forums, if you wish to bring a topic up for conversation (separate sign up required)
  • IRC, if you wish to talk with people live.

Hi Parrothead. Sorry for the confusion. I discussed the Controls page matter with Ryan. The controls page is only mandatory for games with complex controls. Most console games do not fall under this category, while most PC games do. Since the controls for X are so skimpy, it can be moved to the "Getting Started" page (or the "How to play" page, which was a practice that I am trying to abandon since the standard around the site is to use "Getting Started" instead, even though I though "How to play" was more fitting.) Anyway, the ultimate answer is, it's completely up to you, unless the Controls are like more than a page long, in which case, they should be isolated. Procyon (Talk) 21:08, 27 May 2008 (CDT)

Teleroboxer[edit]

Please read over the guide as to how pages are laid out and how wiki markup works. Guide pages need {{Header Nav}} and {{Footer Nav}} templates, and try to avoid using HMTL tags to do things like line breaks. Also, when adding content to a page, try to use headings to break sections up so that a table of contents is generated for the page. Thanks, - najzere 20:54, 29 November 2008 (UTC)

Image categorisation[edit]

When uploading images, please make sure to categorise them using the correct image categories. The image policy is viewable here, and contains all the information you'll need to categorise future uploads. --najzereT 01:20, 11 May 2009 (UTC)
