Welcome to StrategyWiki![edit]

Hello Shadowtrooper! Welcome to StrategyWiki. Thank you for your contributions. If you have any questions, just contact a sysop through their talk page or post on the staff lounge, and they'd be happy to help. If you need help editing, check the StrategyWiki Guide. If you have a question about the content on this wiki, you can check out our staff lounge page. If you want to ask questions or hang out in IRC, we're usually around. On the other hand, if you have ideas for StrategyWiki, bring them up on the community portal talk page. Please remember to sign your name on, and only on, talk pages by clicking Wikisigbutton.png or using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Finally, please do your best to always fill in the edit summary field as this helps to document all of your hard work. Feel free to delete this message from your talk page if you like, or keep it for reference. Happy editing! -- Prod (Talk) 12:24, 18 March 2008 (CDT)

Boss sidebars[edit]

You might want to look at {{bossbar}} for your playpen. -- Prod (Talk) 21:27, 7 April 2008 (CDT)

Incorrectly Named Images[edit]

To rename an image, it must be deleted and re-uploaded. Please upload the images again with the correct titles, and go back to your old images and tag them with the following template code: "{{delete|Re-uploaded}}" (without quotes). If you want to be even more helpful you can add details after re-uploaded, like "as FILENAME" (where FILENAME corresponds to the correctly titled image). I assume you were talking about Image:Conditioning 2.png‎ and Image:Conditioning 3.png‎ - but tagging just helps us confirm it (or leaving a message on a talk page). Normally I would go ahead and delete those and rename them myself, but I'm going to leave it to you - you seem capable of doing it, and it's good practice for being an editor any wiki. --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 07:37, 26 April 2008 (CDT)

Additionally, please note that every image requires at least one of the main image categories. The KOTR category is fine, but that counts as a game specific image category, which only pertains to images used on a game guide. You may want to read up on the policy at StrategyWiki:Guide/Images. When categorizing images, NEVER place them in Category:Images - that is a placeholder for the categories. All of the images that you've already uploaded need to have this taken care of, but hopefully I'll remember tomorrow so I can help. Thanks, --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 07:41, 26 April 2008 (CDT)

Unfortunately, they're still working on implementing image redirects, and it may be a while before they are enabled. Until then, you'll need to mark the old ones with delete, and reupload them with the new names. -- Prod (Talk) 12:15, 26 April 2008 (CDT)

Re: WiiWare[edit]

I noticed the edit on the LostWinds page and I'm a tad confused. Are we considering WiiWare to be a platform separate of the Wii itself? To my knowledge the software is pretty much the same, just distributed digitally (and limited to 43MB or so). Thanks. Zelda ALttP item Flute.pngShadowtrooperTalk 14:11, 11 May 2008 (CDT)

We list games for the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade separately from the core platforms, so to me it makes sense to do the same with WiiWare. GarrettTalk 18:00, 11 May 2008 (CDT)

Unless you've created the SMRPG images yourself, you need to go back and add (in the summary) a link to the source as credit (unless they've been released in the public domain, but they haven't because they are from a video game). Otherwise, the images will be deleted. --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 05:29, 25 December 2008 (UTC)

Done and done. Sorry 'bout that. :) Zelda ALttP item Flute.pngShadowtrooperTalk 21:44, 27 December 2008 (UTC)
Np. Unfortunately, there are some things we can't be lenient about. Also, thanks for helping so much on SMRPG! --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 00:06, 28 December 2008 (UTC)

Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars enemies[edit]

I don't know if you'll find it helpful, but we also have {{alphabetTOC}} to help organize large amounts of information on one page. There's an example on the Twilight Princess enemies page. Also, for enemies with two tables, like Bandanas (Blue & Red) and Big Bertha & Blaster, you could use {{col|2}} to make the formatting a little more even. If you still want to be able to link to each enemy individually, you can do it with an anchor parameter in a <div> tag. If you want help with that, I can add it to your template and it should update all existing enemies. - najzere 19:35, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
