Room 1[edit]

XEN Starbase 3-1.png

You may insert your phazer, pistol, or rifle into the oil drum in the centre of this room, but it is once again not recommended (for it will just swallow it up).

Room 2[edit]

XEN Starbase 3-2.png

The "XX% ALIEN INFESTED" display indicates the percentage of Xenos remaining on the starbase, and the button on the left side of it may be pressed to temporarily make it change to the self-destruct timer (for a few seconds); the three bombs in the centre of the room may be picked up for 1000 points.

Rooms 3 and 4[edit]

XEN Starbase 3-3&4.png

The buttons in both rooms can be pressed to call down the elevator that separates them, and once inside you can go up to the first floor (Rooms 10-18); you can also pass through from one room to the other (once you have called it down), and the seeds in the fourth room may be picked up for 250 points.

Room 5[edit]

XEN Starbase 3-5.png

The tools in the centre of this room may be picked up, for 500 points; unlike the ones found upon the first starbase, they are not obscured by the pillars.

Room 6[edit]

XEN Starbase 3-6.png

The disc and bomb upon the right side of this room may both be picked up, for 1000 and 500 points respectively; the next room also contains a phazer.

Room 7[edit]

XEN Starbase 3-7.png

The matches and phazer on the left side of this room may be picked up, for 250 points and if weaponless respectively, while that mug in the centre of it may be picked up for a health bonus of 50; the next room also contains an enemy that isn't mentioned on the Getting Started page (for it is not a Xeno).

Room 8[edit]

XEN Starbase 3-8.png

The laser cannon on the wall of this room will fire shots at you, and is worth 3000 points when destroyed; the keycard and knife on the left side of and in the centre of the room may also be picked up for 1000 and 500 points respectively. If you destroy the laser cannon but return to here, it shall also return.

Room 9[edit]

XEN Starbase 3-9.png

The bomb upon the right side of this room may be picked up for 500 points; now it is time to move onto the starbase's first floor (it also has a basement).

Rooms 10 and 11[edit]

XEN Starbase 3-10&11.png

On the first floor, the can of beans in the tenth room may be picked up for a health bonus of 50; you may also go back to the ground floor in the elevator.

Room 12[edit]

XEN Starbase 3-12.png

The disc upon the left side of this room may, again, be picked up for 1000 points; the next room also notifies that the starbase's station defense is "ON".

Room 13[edit]

XEN Starbase 3-13.png

The bomb on the left side of this room may again be picked up for 500 points; the next room also has a button on the left side of its wall, but no screens.

Room 14[edit]

XEN Starbase 3-14.png

The button on the wall may be pressed to temporarily freeze this starbase's self-destruct timer (even though it is on that floor that cannot be reached by use of elevator: the basement) while the tools and cash upon the left side of and in the centre of the room may both be picked up for 500 points apiece.

Room 15[edit]

XEN Starbase 3-15.png

The pail in the centre of this room may be picked up, for 250 points, while the phazer on the right side of it may be picked up if you are weaponless; you may also again insert your weapon into that oil drum in the centre of it (but it will again just swallow it up). Therefore, if you had to pick up the phazer on account of being weaponless, you should not insert it into the oil drum - as you will have to fight the Xenos by punching them until you find another one.

Room 16[edit]

XEN Starbase 3-16.png

The gun on the right side of this room (mostly hidden by that second bed) may be picked up to replace your phazer, pistol, or rifle; it can gas the Xenos.

Room 17[edit]

XEN Starbase 3-17.png

The code on the left side of this room may be picked up for 1000 points; there is also nothing hidden behind the Large Xeno's skeleton on the right side.

Room 18[edit]

XEN Starbase 3-18.png

The "XX% ALIEN INFESTED" display indicates the percentage of Xenos remaining on the starbase, and the button on the left side of it may be pressed to temporarily make it change to the self-destruct timer (for a few seconds); the I.D. tag in the centre of the room may also be picked up (for 500 points), and a disc may also be inserted into the slot on the left side of the display to be beamed down to this starbase's basement (or "Interstellar Root Cellar").

Rooms 19 and 20[edit]

XEN Starbase 3-19&20.png

On the basement of the starbase, the buttons in both rooms may be pressed to call down the elevator; the vial in the twentieth room may also be picked up for 250 points and you may also go back up to the ground floor in the elevator (but you cannot come back down to this floor in it; you will just have to insert another disc, if you have one, into the slot next to the display on the first floor). If you do not have another disc, you shall have to kill all the Xenos.

Room 21[edit]

XEN Starbase 3-21.png

The fuel can in the centre of this room may be picked up for 250 points; you may also insert your weapon into the oil drum next to it but it will once again just swallow it up. The next room also has a second malfunctioning vending machine in it - along with three bombs, a jetpac, and a second can of beans.

Room 22[edit]

XEN Starbase 3-22.png

The malfunctioning vending machine on the left side of this room will fire bolts of electricity at you, because it is malfunctioning; the three bombs in front of it are also worth 1000 points, while the jetpac in the room's centre is worth 250 points and the bean can on its right side is worth a health bonus of 50.

Room 23[edit]

XEN Starbase 3-23.png

The glass panel on the left side of this room's self-destruct timer may be broken to reveal a keypad, and the button on the right side of it may be pushed to temporarily freeze it for what is a second time; the keycard in the centre of the room may also be picked up for 1000 points while the skull of the dead crewman's skeleton on the right side of it may be picked up for 250. Once you have entered the code into the keypad the timer will immediately go on to 0:10 - and you will be beamed out of the starbase once it has reached 0:05. However, if you do not have the code (or a second disc) you cannot do this.

Room 24[edit]

XEN Starbase 3-24.png

The disc and bomb in the centre of this room may both be picked up for 1000 and 500 points respectively; the next room also has a rope and a rifle in it.

Room 25[edit]

XEN Starbase 3-25.png

The rope and rifle upon this room's left side can be picked up for 500 points and to replace the phazer or pistol respectively; it can also replace the gun.

Room 26[edit]

XEN Starbase 3-26.png

The tools upon the right side of the room may be picked up for 500 points; the next room to be covered also happens to be the last one of the starbase.

Room 27[edit]

XEN Starbase 3-27.png

The "XX% ALIEN INFESTED" display indicates the percentage of Xenos remaining on the starbase, and the button on the left side of it may be pressed to temporarily make it change to the self-destruct timer (for a third time); the bombs on the right side of this room may also be picked up for 1000 points. If you fail to destroy the base before the self-destruct timer runs out, the Xenos shall overrun it and you will not receive any bonus (except for that 1000-point one for every item you recovered from the base) - however, if you ordered the destruction of the base, you shall receive 100 points for every Xeno you killed (up to a maximum of 22400), and if you managed to kill all 225 Xenos on this base (before that self-destruct timer ran out) you shall receive a health bonus of 200, along with 300 points for every Xeno you had killed (up to a maximum of 67500). The next starbase has 36 rooms over four floors.
