Overworld
- Move in the appropriate direction (no diagonals)
Pick up items, talk to people, etc.
Run (Once the Running Shoes are obtained)
- Open the menu
- Use a "registered" item

Battle
- - Navigate the battle menu
- - Select an option from the menu(Attack, use item, switch Pokémon, run)
- - Go back
