The final design was an evolution of the DualShock 2, with a central button and tilt sensing added, named SixAxis. The rumble function of the DualShock 2 was removed from the new controller, although rumors have been circulating that a further redesign, including both rumble and tilt sensing, will soon be announced by Sony.

New update! a version update for the ps3 has made it possible to have the vibration thingy work along with the sixaxis controller! some think that the dualshock is in the controller already, just the games haven't added them in yet! YAY! :-]
