Revision as of 19:10, 22 October 2014
Route 24 starts at the bridge at the north part of Cerulean City. On this bridge you will have to fight five trainers (you can heal after each trainer and still receive your reward) and then a Team Rocket Grunt, who will give you a nugget before asking you to join Team Rocket. If you go west after the bridge there is a trainer, and some tall grass and water that contain this route's Pokémon.

New Pokémon
#43 Oddish | #69 Bellsprout |
---|---|
Another Pokémon that is exclusive only to Pokémon FireRed. Combining Grass and Poison type makes him a useful Pokémon in your team. Most of its attacks include absorbing attacks which are very useful for long fights without a place to heal, and powders that are helpful when you try to catch other Pokémon. It can be evolved into Vileplume by using a Leaf Stone or Bellossom (after you defeat the Elite 4) by using a Sun Stone. | A Grass/Poison-type Pokémon LeafGreen exclusive. It also learns powder attacks like Oddish. Bellsprout is a good choice for Grass-type Pokémon if your starter Pokémon wasn't Bulbasaur. Its final form is Victreebel, which is more offense-orientated than Vileplume or Bellossom. |
#63 Abra | |
The first Psychic-type Pokémon in these games. It is very sneaky, so when you try to catch him, you can either throw a Poké Ball or try to put it to Sleep or Paralyze it. If not, it will Teleport away. Its final form is Alakazam, which is very powerful Pokémon and a really good choice to your team. To evolve Abra into Alakazam, you have to trade it with someone. |
