  1. This guide was at completion stage four very early on when Procyon finished the guide. It has had ample revisions from multiple editors' for accuracy and the best strategies. The guide meets our standards for completeness, the required number of images is met, and it is fully complete. --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 16:45, 19 September 2014 (UTC)
  2. Although it's one of the more obscure games in the Lolo series, it contains a lot of the same puzzles that would go on the grace the American releases. I think this guide came out pretty well. Thanks for the nomination NMH! Procyon 17:58, 20 September 2014 (UTC)
  3. I'm not sure why this has been stuck in the Featured guide queue for 3 years, but the guide looks well-written and complete. I see no reason why it shouldn't be promoted. —Thunderforge (talk) 02:12, 17 September 2017 (UTC)
  4. I was the one who reorganized the table of contents. Of course I support this! Was it five years ago already??? --Abacos (talk) 14:07, 11 June 2019 (UTC)
  5. By the Gods, it's been seven years and this thing hasn't been promoted???? Arrow Windwhistler (talk) 10:22, 22 February 2020 (UTC)

Sam & Max Episode 101: Culture Shock

  1. This is a fairly short game that has all of its puzzles thoroughly detailed, with pictures. Having just played through this game myself, I believe don't see anything lacking that would prevent one from using this guide to complete the game. Given, this, I believe it meets the criteria for a Featured Guide. —Thunderforge (talk) 02:22, 17 September 2017 (UTC)
  2. Pretty good guide. Should probably just make Sam & Max Save the World featured, since all the guides are at the same level. Najzere · Talk 07:11, 17 September 2017 (UTC)

Ultima IV: Quest of the Avatar

Ultima IV: Quest of the Avatar

  1. If there is an Ultima that deserves to be put under the limelight, this is the one. The player can learn actual philosophy from it! All the game invites the player to improve him/herself in real life. It is an absolutely unique game in history of video games. --Abacos (talk) 14:07, 11 June 2019 (UTC)
  2. Looks incredibly thorough. --WarioTalk 00:22, 14 June 2019 (UTC)
  3. This guide has been a labor of love from Abacos, and it shows throughout. Procyon 01:08, 14 June 2019 (UTC)
  4. Thorough as usual! Great job Abacos. My only problem with the guide is the appendices should have prev/next links so all of the content in the entire guide can be read through linearly like a book (and easily audited by us so we don't have to go through the table of contents each time we need to check another page). --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 01:43, 14 August 2019 (UTC)

  • Ultima IV: Quest of the Avatar/Magic - there's some incorrect information on the page, as some of those spells can be mixed without doubling up reagents (e.g. Calumy from Yew mentions that it only requires one bloodmoss instead of two). Ultima IV: Quest of the Avatar/Enemies - I noticed the game acts a bit odd in regards to non-evil creatures, sometimes inconsistent (e.g. lost valor for fleeing from non-evil, or taking no penalty for killing in an already started combat) as if the mechanic wasn't fully researched. --Sigma 7 (talk) 04:49, 14 June 2019 (UTC)
    • Magic: (disagreed) the rightmost column in the table states whether there is a "new mix" available. If this information can be missed at a first sight, it is because I tried to limit spoilers in the guide.
Enemies: (agreed) I failed to notice this in the three ports I played (Master System, Amiga, Atari ST). I just added this information to the guide (with my writing quirk: I avoid using "not" as well as any abbreviation). --Abacos (talk) 09:44, 20 June 2019 (UTC)
  • Notmyhandle, I adjusted prev/next hyperlinks, ---Abacos (talk) 10:42, 26 September 2019 (UTC)
  • A few points:
    • Main Page: Why isn't {{game disambig}} used on the main page?
    • Main Page: Can you use a gallery instead of a table for the images?
    • Britannia Yellow Pages directory Is this an in-game term?
    • Controls: Please update to follow the guide.
    • Enemies: Alt text for the images seems to be broken.
    • Equipment: Should use {{details}}, or do we need a different template?
    • Some pages seem to use notwide=1 when the table is almost the full width of the page already.
    • -- Prod (talk) 07:52, 7 December 2020 (UTC)
  • Answering:
    • Main page: fixed
    • Britannia Yellow Pages Directory: I thought it was a good description of what the page is about, although I know that today the Yellow Pages are websites; if you can come up with a better name, I am for it.
    • Controls: this will take me some time; this year I am far more busy than in the past.
    • Enemies: same as above.
    • Equipment: fixed.
    • notwide=1 : I thought that some readers could have a screen that is wider than mine.
    • -- Abacos (talk) 12:32, 14 December 2020 (UTC)
Maybe rename it to something like Shops? By default, pages should be designed to look good on the default skin (Dolphin). The width of the content section maxes out at 970px (-padding/margins). I'm browsing on the widest possible screen, and some of them look a bit unbalanced without 100% width. Nowadays, with how many people browse on mobile, we should also view the guide there. -- Prod (talk) 19:22, 14 December 2020 (UTC)

  • To be honest, I'm not entirely sure how I feel about this guide. On one hand, it's complete in every way it can be. I suppose I'm more worried about upkeep, as the game is changing a fair bit at the moment. At the same time, however, I'm super glad that I've been able to hit the top spot on Google with this guide, and reception overall seems to be pretty positive. I'm nominating the guide, but on the other hand I don't want to break my "Featured Guide" streak by having it be added to Unsuccessful requests haha...Arrow
