On The Sims 2: Seasons your sims can have their own garden, greenhouse, ponds etc.

* To get a greenhouse go to build mode then gardening and you will find the greenhouse tool, you can also get planting grounds, fruit trees and decorations.
To start growing things you need to purchase to right plot from the garden centre in build mode.<br>
* To fish you need a pond and a sim, while playing the sim click on the pond and select fishing using ... and then select the bait (a worm for beginners) and you are fishing!
Once this has been bought and placed you can start growing things (you will start purely with tomatoes and as your gardening skill grows you will be able to grow more items)<br>

You can also buy trees which bear lemons, oranges and apples which need to be maintained.<br>
For your vegetables to grow better you can also build a greenhouse which will protect your plants from the weather and any insects.<br>
Plants need to watered and tended regularly before the produce can be harvested (or sold off).<br>
The better care you took of the plants the better it will turn out, and the more satisfaction it will give when prepared in meals.
