Legend of the Ghost Lion/Pixie territory

Town of Pixie

Like Davis, this town looks like a lone mushroom. It is located north-west from the former huge rock, across a river.

Blue pixie: "This is Pixie, but now everyone is afraid of the huge slug." "This is merry Pixie. Now the village is cheerful again."	Welcome!
Pink pixie: "A brave pixie went into the cave with a mystical rope to destroy the huge slug. I hope he will come back safely." "Thank you for defeating the slug!"	This is your current quest. The mystical rope is an extremely useful item, the slug item is necessary later.
Azure pixie: "The sprites look like us pixies, but be careful: they are evil."
Pink pixie in house: "Do not forget: only creatures like human beings can have dreams and hopes."
White pixie in house: "I have heard that there is a red pyramid at Alko in the south of the island."	To be visited during next chapter.

Cave of the slug

This cave is located south from Pixie.

Follow the path south and east, and you will reach the boss at once. Later, after you defeat it, explore the rest of the cave; it consists of a single loop, where you can find a fragment of hope (n.7) that will restore Maria's courage and dreams.

Boss: Huge Slug

Hugeslug: "What? If you oppose me, I will not pardon you."

Pixie: "Thank you for helping me! I will give you this box as a token of my thanks." The pixie went away with the light.

Rope: [One enemy] is entangled with the mystical rope. [This enemy] is bound by the mystical rope and cannot move.

When you defeat the Huge Slug, Maria will collect a slug; this item is necessary during the 6th chapter. It is unclear why the pixies feared the Huge Slug. Actually, the Huge Slug misses evil pixies or sprites almost always. Still, the Huge Slug will be stronger than Moja for a while, although the latter is faster.

At the end of the corridor, a pixie gives Maria the mystical rope; together with Elf's hold spell, this allows to block one more enemy during combat.

Ranya tower

Leave Pixie village and travel north. You will soon see a tower; it is an enemy-infested area with a friendly town at the top.

Violet man: "There is a broom that is kept by a witch in the witch forest. If I could get it, I could fly from village to village."	The broom is another very useful item.
Pink woman 2: "There is a town in the north with a tower called Kapi's tower. You will find it soon. I want to go there, too!"

Witch's forest

Two people in Ranya tower directed Maria here. In order to reach it, follow the coast north and west. This area looks like a hollow tree from the outisde.

The forest is free from any enemy, therefore you can take your time navigating it. Look at the tile just south of every hollow tree until you find the music box. Specifically, it is near the tree in the south-east corner.

Talk to the witch, bargain a bit, and you will obtain her flying broom, as a man in Ranya tower said.

Use the broom to fly back to Pixie, restore & save the game, then bring the music box to the girl in Ranya tower. She will thank you by explaining how to use the waterjug Maria found in the same tower.

Witch: "This is the witch's forest. Oh! You have the horn. Let us exchange the horn for my broom." No? "Oh, that really is too bad. I will give you 20 rubies, though. This is not bad, eh?" No-no? "If that is the case, I will abandon this deal. Go home." Yes? "You cannot use that within closed places or in the midst of battles. Be careful."" "What is this? I no longer have to deal with you."

Lake of Paradise

The Lake of Paradise

After visiting Ranya Tower again, continue north, but this time follow the east mountains and coast. You will reach the faerie spring called Fairy. Continue to the west. Access the dungeon area from the west side of the lake.

Enter the cave near Paradise Lake shore. At the fork, the south-east path is just a loop; go east for a fragment of hope (n.9); go south then west to emerge on the islet. On the lake isle, do as the old man says, then leave.

Old man on island: "This is the Lake of Paradise, but if you do not use the water jug to draw the water, the water will become a cloud and instantly float up into the sky." "You should better hurry."

Waterjug: The lake water has reached the sky and become enchanted water.

Rainbow bridge

Leave the Lake of Paradise, save at the Fairy spring, then continue along the northern "frontier" to the two hollow trees on opposite sides of a river. Inside, give the enchanted water to the Rainbow Child, and he will open the passage to the next region.

Rainbow child: "Oh, no! There is no water. I cannot go back if I do not have it!" "Water! This is what I have been looking for! Thank you. Now I can go back home. I will make a rainbow as a token of my thanks."
