Legend:
AC Arcade (the default method)
FC Famicom
GB Game Boy (original and Namco Gallery Vol. 2)
PS PlayStation (Namco Museum Vol. 3)
AT Famicom & Game Boy "Another Tower"
ATp Playstation "Another Tower" (composed of different mazes and enemies)

If you do not see FC, GB, or PS in the table, then the method is the same as for the Arcade version.

Floor 51

Floor 51

Enemies:

Treasure: Balance
This is the last Balance that you are required to collect in order to prevent the powerful Hyper Armor from becoming the Evil Armor which will lower your defense.
AC Press and hold any one direction until the appears.
AT Use your pickax to destroy exactly seven walls, and then press Select button.
ATp You must continue to walk with your sword drawn without hitting any walls, for a distance of roughly one column's length.

Floor 52

Floor 52

Enemies:

Treasure: Hyper Armor
This blue lined armor is so powerful that it will make Gil defend himself against the evil demon Druaga. It is also capable of absorbing one spell per floor without the shield and/or sword drawn. However, it will deplete Gil's energy, and cannot defeat most enemies except slimes, ghosts, and magicians. If you haven't collected the Balance, this will become the Evil Armor which will decrease your defense, meaning the treasure should be avoided. You can also lose it if you are zapped to a lower floor.
AC Break four walls with your Gold Pickaxe.
GB Defeat every enemy to collect it.
AT Defeat the .
ATp Do not block any spells with your shield before collecting the

Floor 53

Floor 53

Enemies:

Treasure: Unlock Potion
This treasure is required for either the treasure on Floor 54 or on Floor 56. But seeing as the one on 56 is empty, you should make sure to use it on 54 instead.
AC Walk to point A on the map. Use the pickax to break the wall to the south, and advance to point B.
FC The solution is similar to the original, except the starting point is eight squares from the left (the center column) and two rows from the bottom.
GB You must kill the knights in a particular order.
AT Walk to the a square 8 squares from the left, and 5 rows from the top, and face south.
ATp Absorb a spell using your armor. Then collect the that was present when the level began. Absorb one more spell with your armor to reveal the real at your starting point. Don't forget to collect it because it contains the real unlock potion.

Floor 54

Floor 54

Enemies:

Treasure: Blue Ring
After losing protection from the when you gave up the Green Ring, you are finally afforded protection from both and thanks to the possession of the Blue Ring.
AC Walk to point A and face south.
FC This floor is just like the last floor, except the starting point is eight squares from the left (the center column) and two rows from the top. Break the wall below and walk down.
GB Walk to every corner of the stage and face south.
AT Similarly to the last floor, walk to the a square 8 squares from the left, and 1 rows from the top, and face south.
ATp Absorb a spell with your armor.
NOTE: The item on this floor, and floor 56 have been swapped! If you open this floor's , you will use up your potion of unlock, and be unable to collect the blue ring on floor 56!

Floor 55

Floor 55

Enemies:

Treasure: None
ATp In order to escape this level and move on to floor 56, you must exit the door whose number corresponds to the 100's digit of your score. The numbers of the doors, from left to right, are 5, 1, 4, 0, 7, 3, 9, 2. There are no doors for 6 and 8. You may not break any walls with your pickax. If you break a wall, or choose the wrong door, you will be zapped back to the previous floor.

Floor 56

Floor 56

Enemies:

Treasure: An empty box
You can reveal a on this floor, but alas, the contents of the box are empty. You would only find this out if you, for some reason, did not use the Potion of Unlocking on Floor 54.
AC Provided that you have collected the Hyper Armor, use it to absorb a spell from the . It won't count if your shield blocks the spell.
AT Absorb a spell from the with your armor while your sword is drawn.
ATp Provided you collected the Potion of Unlock from floor 53, and you did not open the on floor 54, you must destroy every . Then you must proceed to destroy as many walls as the druids destroyed. (Walls that other enemies destroy count toward your destroyed walls as well.)

(Note: it seems that killing all the isn't enough to reveal the treasure, one of the working solution is to kill all the , then all the , then all the . Finally destroy the walls like described above.)

Floor 57

Floor 57

Enemies:

Treasure: Ruby Mace
By trading the Sapphire Mace for this Ruby Mace, you will possess the power to defeat the final that you will encounter on Floor 59 in one hit. Without it, you'll have a tough time.
AC Walk on the to turn the into . She may resemble the goddess, but she is actually an evil Succubus disguised as Ishtar, and must be defeated. If you touch without your sword drawn, you will lose one Gil. After you defeat the first enemy, defeat the .
Walk on the to turn the fake into the Ishtar look-alike Succubus. Defeat the Succubus and return to the door. Repeat this process two more times (so that you kill the Succubus a total of three times). Do not kill the fake Ki. You must not collect the before the appears.
ATp Destroy your gold pickax by using it on one of the outer walls. Then pick up the and defeat the Succubus.

Floor 58

Floor 58 (Arcade version)

Enemies:

Treasure: Blue Crystal Rod
This Crystal Rod is required to defeat Druaga. If you do not collect it, Druaga will not appear in your presence, and you will be unable to advance to Floor 60.
AC You must walk through the points displayed on the map in sequence (A, B, C).
FC The matching points are all eight squares from the left (the center column). From the top wall, you must pass through the point 7 rows from the top, then 1 row from the top, and then 4 rows from the top. Also, another difference is that you will be able to defeat Druaga, advance to Floor 60, and complete the game without collecting the Blue Crystal Rod.
AT The method is the same as the FC method described directly above.
ATp Stand inside of the flame breath of a , and shake your sword.

Floor 59

Floor 59

Enemies:

Treasure: none
AC
  1. There are three s, but one moves faster than the others. This is the one you must defeat. Four s will then appear.
  2. Of the four s, only one is the true . He will not be invincible like all the others. Defeat the true , and a will appear.
  3. Defeat the . Possession of the Ruby Mace makes this fight substantially easier.
  4. will appear. He is extremely fast, and can cast wizard spells at you. Try to wait for him to come to you and defeat him as quickly as possible. Be careful not to absorb a spell with the Hyper Armor, or you will be unable to defeat him. Make sure that you kill him before you exit through the to Floor 60, or you will be ZAPPED to a lower floor and some of your items will be lost.
AT Same as above.
ATp The solution here is similar to the one above, with the exception is after you defeat the , two fake will appear. One will not be wearing the Hyper Helmet. That is the one you must kill. Then proceed to defeat before advancing to Floor 60.

Floor 60

Floor 60

Enemies:none

Treasure: none
AC To successfully finish the game, you must execute these steps in the following order. Failure to do so including trying to attack or or break a wall with your Pickaxe, you will lose one Gil, and be ZAPPED to a lower floor, and some of your items will be lost.
  1. Walk (1) and collect
  2. Walk down to the second to last row near the bottom and 7 blocks to point (2) and push down to set the Green Crystal Rod.
  3. Walk up to the second to last row near the top to point (3) and push down to set the Red Crystal Rod.
  4. Walk down to the center row to point (4) to turn the into and collect her.
  5. Walk to point (5) to set Blue Crystal Rod, and simply push down to complete the game where Ki will re-appear.
FC The method is the same as above. However, if you draw your sword towards the , you will be zapped to an earlier floor and some items will be lost.
AT The method is the same as AC (and FC), with the exception that your sword must be drawn whenever you push down.
ATp
  1. Walk up to, and collect, Ishtar, who will be waiting on the left side.
  2. Now you need to walk to a position that is 7 blocks from the left, and 6 rows from the top, and shake your sword. A crystal rod should appear.
  3. Then walk 6 blocks to the right so that you are now 13 blocks from the left, and shake your sword.
  4. Now climb up to the second row from the top and shake your sword in the square that is 10 blocks from the left. You should not have a triangle of crystal rods.
  5. Finally, stand in the bottom of the cleared out vertical strip in the center of the stage, and face up (looking at Ki).
