Pokémon Ranger/Find Mew, the Mirage!
Mew, the Pokémon said to be a mirage, has been sighted in Olive Jungle. Capture Mew for Prof. Hastings's research and for the honor of a Ranger
Find Mew, the Mirage![edit]
To be able to see this mission, you need to finish Rescue Celebi
You start out in the Summerland Ranger Base where Cameron tells you that Percy has spotted a Mew in the jungle. Percy says that he was mistaken as other people don't believe him. Cameron tells Percy to have more faith in himself the he tells you to find Mew as Prof. Hastings needs it's data for his Styler research.
Walk out of the Ranger Base and the screen will cut out and come back with you in Olive Jungle and the mission is started. You walk up and meet Percy who says he came here to double check if Mew was here. He says it's not and tells you to get a new mission so the other people don't call you a liar. After that you hear a Pokémon cry and it's revealed to be Mew. Mew then wonders off into the jungle.
Go into the jungle to find Mew. Whenever you enter an area with Mew, you will hear its cry. If you don't hear it's cry then head into the other sections until you hear it. Luckily for you, it will be in the very next area but don't go looking for it yet because you don't any Poké Assists and Mew will be the hardest Pokémon to capture without one. It is recommended to go to the area right outside the Jungle Relic to get a Shedinja to help capture Mew.

Once you captured the Shedinja, go back to the area where you heard Mew's cry and follow the path behind the kid that shouts Mew and it will be roaming around there. Don't encounter it just yet as you need to fully charge up your Partner Gauge first. Take the top path and go left then up until you see a silcoon and keep looping it until your Partner Gauge is full. Once it's full, go encounter Mew.

Mew likes to teleport alot and he alsos runs away very quickly. Use Minun/Plusle as soon as you think Mew will be in the middle of the screen. Once it's paralyzed then use Shedinja and draw loops around Mew to conjure ghosts to distract it and make the capture easier.
Once Mew is captured, you will meet up with Prof. Hastings and Percy. Prof. Hastings checks your Styler and says that Mew's data has been fully registered. He then says he's going to announce this achievement for you and to let everyone know that Percy isn't a liar. You then head back to the Ranger Base and Cameron doesn't need a report because he can see the happiness in Percy and Prof. Hastings. The mission is the completed.
