Shine Sprite
Shine Sprites are required to unlock events and stages throughout the game, for instance there is a minimum number of Shines that must be collected before being able to head to the final area and boss.
Coin
Collect 50 of them for a 1-Up. collect 100 for a shine.
Blue Coin
Get ten to buy a Shine.
Red Coin
Collect eight in certain levels.
FLUDD
Fruit
Fruit are used to feed Yoshi, give to fruit collecting ladies and to defeat King Boo.
Water Barrel
Used to clean large amounts of goop and to cool down Chain Chomps.
Water Carton
Refills your waterpack.
Tool Box
Holds attachments for FLUDD's nozzle.
Yoshi Egg
Give it the fruit it wants to ride Yoshi.
Green Mushroom
Gives you a 1-Up when collected.
Spring Board

Water Rockets
Only found in Pinna Park When riding the roller coaster. Used to shoot balloons and Mecha Bowser.
Bubbles
Create a water carton when sprayed. Only found when battling King Boo.
