The main core of Tony Hawk's American Sk8land is the Story mode. You get to travel around California with Tony raising money to build your skatepark. The whole Story mode is split across many different areas in California. These areas can also be accessed from Classic Mode, Free Mode, and online using Nintendo Wi-Fi.
