Crops are one of the two methods a farmer can use to make money, the other being livestock.

A field can be created in a clear 8x8 square using the PLANT control.

Crop List

There are 24 crops in SimFarm. 16 of the crops are available for use. You can use File > Load Crop to change which crops are available. Keep in mind that you can't remove a crop from the list of available options if it is active in any way on your farm (purchased seeds, harvested crops, active fields, etc).

Cow skull icon Not enough water in soil Connect irrigation ditches beside the field to a water source, or add more wet irrigation ditches
Skull icon High soil toxicity Change the type of crop growing in the field or stop growing crops. May take time to resolve.
