Like the Germans, the British arsenal is quite balanced, but needs to be used correctly in order to do the most possible damage.
The American arsenal is often regarded as the best and most balanced weapon set of the four factions. It is the second largest with 6 weapons.

=== Lee-Enfield ===
===M1A1===
The Lee-Enfield is the British main long rifle. It has a unique 2 stip clip capacity. Meanin it can carry a maximum of 10 rounds but can only be reloaded if below 5 (''Round Amount+5''). If you have no ammo left it will automatically (like any other gun) reload to the full 10. It has rather strange sites as well. Before lining up the sights (if you need more time, that is) get your enemy between the cross-hairs and then look down the sight. This will give you a slight edge with the accuracy. Like any other long rifle, stay at long to medium range.
The M1A1 rifle is the weakest of all rifles in Call of Duty. Although it is weak it can be pretty powerful in the right hands, here are a few tips on how to wield an M1A1 correctly. First, this weapon is good at virtually all ranges, but not against MGs in close ranges and snipers at long ranges, so use mostly at medium-range. Second, aiming down the sight is always reccomended on this weapon because of its awkwardness when not ADS. It is also wise to refrain from switching weapons when not under cover because you have to fold the stock in and then bring out the next weapon, this wastes precious seconds and can easily leave yourself exposed to enemy fire or rifle butts. This weapon has a 15 round magazine and is of light-weight.

=== Bren LMG ===
===M1 Garand===
The Bren LMG (LMG stands for ligh-machine gun, which refers to it's portability during post WWI) is the heavy machine gun for the British force. This gun is extremely heavy but extremely accurate when prone. Shoot in bursts at medium to long ranges, try to stay at these ranges as well, this is not a good close range gun because of its slow rate of fire. It has a thirty round top-load magazine. This is a support gun, give your temmates cover fire if needed.
Much different than the M1A1, the Garand is extremely accurate and powerful. The only draw back is does not have a good rate of fire and it can't be quick-loaded, you must use all 8 rounds. This is hardly a problem because it does not take much to reload this gun, just insert the rounds and you're set. Use at medium to long ranges. This weapon has an 8 round magazine and is of light-weight.

=== Sten ===
===BAR===
The Sten is an extremely light sub-machine gun, it is debated to be the least accurate sub-machine gun in Call of Duty. It has a 32 round side-load magazine. As mentioned before, this gun is very inaccurate, use at close ranges only unless absolutely needed at medium ranges. It's light weight and quick reloading make it great for assaults, its rate of fire is decent enough, but not quite at the same level as the Thompson SMG.
The Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR) is a heavy machine gun for the American faction. It has a 20 round magazine and is very heavy with a fairly quick rate of fire. The BAR is a support gun, meaning it should not be used in an offensive operation. Stay at medium to long ranges and use the sight while crouched (or prone). Reload often before you spot an enemy advance.

=== Springfield & 50 Caliber ===
===Thompson===
For more information on these weapons please view the [[Call of Duty/United States|United States]] page. Since they are shared weapons betweent the two factions, they only need to be stated once.
The Thompson (Tommy Gun) is the American's one and only sub-machine gun. It has an extremely good rate of fire, is of light weight and has a 30 round magazine. Since this is a sub-machine gun that should be used at short ranges for offensive operations.
