Command & Conquer: Red Alert/Mission 11: Secure the river for the navy
Variant A[edit]
Allies, Mission 11a (upper route)
"Secure the river for the navy"
Briefing: "Our assault on the USSR is underway, although our efforts are being hindered by large pockets of soviet armor. To counter this we need to move warships up the Volga river, but there is a bottleneck near Volgograd which you must clear so our naval vessels can move in. Good Luck."
For Mission 11, in which you need to secure the river passage near Volgograd (or St. Petersburg area according to Von Esling and theater map) you have two different choices which route you can take. They have same objective but the map layout is different. You'll get this map from choosing the upper arrow.
Walkthrough: You'll get the two hour time limit after which Allied navy will be sailing through the river. The mission is accomplished if at least one Cruiser reaches the opposite end of the map. If you successfully destroy all Soviet presence in the area then you can trigger off the timer and Navy will arrive right after. There's a plenty of options how to approach the mission. The quickest way is to deploy both of your MCVs and quickly rush the main western Soviet base.
