The game has several modes, 1-on-1 duels, Team Deathmatches, and Free-for-all among others.
The game was released on December 4, 2007. The game is free to download and play, but NCcoins, an in-game micropayment system, allows players to purchase more powerful weapons, skills, and parts. The game's maps contain advertisements for other NCsoft titles, most likely to justify for free play of the game.

You are also allowed to access upgrade parts for your mech, ranging from heads, legs, missile lauchers, cannons, and blade weapons, virtually any part of your mech is customizable.

The game is already released in Korea (in Alpha stage), and there are plans to release a Beta in Western markets in late 2006.

The game is planned to be released in a free to download, free to play format, although access to better weapons, maps and parts will be limited to customers paying a fee.  (whether this is a monthly payment or one of deal, is unknown at this time.)
