Field commands

A Abandonner Abandon, drop Leave a character or an item.
If you abandon a party member, s/he will automatically return to his/her home location.
B Boire Drink Drink a potion.
C Combattre Combat Fight an enemy, unless the enemy engages first.
D Descendre Descend Go down stairs.
E Entrer Enter Enter a location;
F Fuir Flee Flee from combat. Enemies get a free turn, and the party find themselves in a random location.
H Halte Stop Pause and select a sub-command.
H -> A Accélerer les déplacements Accelerate movement Speed up transition between screens.
H -> C Consulter la carte Check the map You need the correct map. All characters start with the map of the world of Amarande.
H -> D Dormir Sleep ?
H -> H HELP... HELP... Create a fake graph, in case someone sneaks behind the player.
H -> I In(tro)spection In(tro)spection Check the hero's attributes.
H -> M Manger Eat (a meal) ?
H -> S Sonder Scan Check the attributes of party members. Success rate depends on the "mind power" attribute (volonté).
H -> Esc Quitter Quit Quit the game

M Monter Climb Go up.
N Negocier Negociate, transact It requires to select a sub-command.
N -> A Acheter Buy
N -> D Donner Donate
N -> I Interroger Interrogate, ask

O Ouvrir Open Open a unlocked door or a chest.
P Prendre Pick up, take When you open a chest, any item should be Picked up and assigned to one party member (gold Ducats are taken automatically, because there is a single "gold pool" for the whole party).
Q Quitter et sauver Quit and save Actually, it just saves the game. You need a floppy drive mounted in DOS Box.
S Séduire Seduce Ask a character to join; success rate ruled by the hero's charisma (charme)
U Utiliser Use Use an item. In front of a locked door, the command automatically uses the correct key.

A Attaque mentale Mind Attack Only for characters with "psychic power" (pouvoir psy) skill.
Classes with innate psychic power: vestal, priest, merchant.
J Jeter un sort ConJure a spell Only for characters with "magic" (magie) skill.
Classes with innate magic skill: mage, sorcerer.
L Lutter CLose combat Only for characters with "close combat" (lutte) skill.
Classes with innate close combat skill: warrior.
T Tirer ShooT Only for characters with "shooting" (tir) skill.
Classes with innate shooting skill: cyborg, pilot.
D Dissiper Dispel This attack is the only way to harm spirits as well as demons.
Only for characters with "exorcism" (exorcisme) skill.
Classes with innate exorcism skill: priest.
P Psalmodier Pray This attack is the only way to harm undead creatures as well as demons.
Only for characters with "enchantment" (incantation) skill.
Classes with innate enchantment skill: sorcerer.
C Crier Cry out This action requires to type a word to yell.
