I don't understand. You uploaded one version of the file that was wrong, so you uploaded the correct one, right? The one at the top is correct, so what's the problem? You don't like how the history shows the wrong file being uploaded? It doesn't seem like something we need to delete, but I've gone ahead and done so anyways so you can proceed. --{{User:Notmyhandle/Sig}} 15:56, 1 October 2012 (UTC)

:Yeah, it's the correct image. I double checked on dota2.com. Make sure you refresh the page (F5) on both the image page and any page that has the image on it, or clear your cache (the way to do that is browser specific so you'll have to look it up) if that doesn't work. --{{User:Notmyhandle/Sig}} 15:05, 2 October 2012 (UTC)

;Table of Contents
The ToC links should be the full page name, not some arbitrary shortened version. I can help you with that. The full titles make it easier to find a character in the listing, since they aren't alphabetical. Also, I was thinking maybe we could put little portrait icons (like 5x5 or 10x10) next to the name for even easier browsing. Are there any square portraits you can get us? Maybe in game? --{{User:Notmyhandle/Sig}} 20:54, 27 November 2012 (UTC)

Thank you for writing the Walkthrough for [[Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth]]. There is just very few things to do like writing something to the Locations in Case 04: Turnabout Reminiscence and fill out Case 05: Turnabout Ablaze. == Adminship ==
Heya, Test. I was wondering if you'd be interested in one day becoming an administrator on the site. Everything you've done for the site so far is, to put it bluntly, awesome. Your collaboration with Paco over the Ace Attorney Investigations guide is great along with what you've done for the Dota 2 and Smash Bros. guides, I like the idea of spoiler tags in Layton games, and I'm pretty sure that there's no problem with your understanding of the site's policies. I know we don't agree on everything (that whole fighting game debate is something we'll probably never agree on) but your contributions really impress me and I'd like to see more of them. ^_^ Quite honestly, I'm surprised you haven't been nominated already. I'd be honored to nominate you if you're interested. --[[User:E-123Wario54|<span style="color:Purple">'''Wario'''</span>]][[User talk:E-123Wario54|<span style="color:Blue">'''Talk'''</span>]] 04:02, 24 January 2013 (UTC)

Sorry to bother you again, but can you write something to some Characters [http://strategywiki.org/wiki/Professor_Layton_and_the_Diabolical_Box/Characters here] and if you think this character should be main character and this main character should be only a minor character, then go ahead and change it. If you also want write something about some characters other than the main/minor characters then that is fine too. I will help out with images for the 3. part of the series too. == Blocking anonymous users ==
Hi test, unfortunately, we cannot block anonymous users indefinitely, as IPs get moved around all of the time. We might end up blocking a legitimate user (highly unlikely, but this is our policy). So, in most cases we only block anon users for up to 1-3 months. In this case I did 6, it doesn't really matter. In most cases, these IPs do not spam after the first day. --{{User:Notmyhandle/Sig}} 15:54, 4 September 2013 (UTC)

== New Super Mario Bros. World headers ==
Hey T., great work on the [[New Super Mario Bros.]] cleanup. One thing, though: having the World headers as sub-pages essentially creates duplications. There is always a conflict here between having minor duplication, which can be effective/nice, and simplifying/streamlining content. For example, we typically go with making such headers just black, unlinked text. That way, the ToC denotes the levels under that world. The only reason to keep the world subpages is if they have something beneficial. I can see how it would be nice for readers to be able to click to a world header and see an overview of what level is what, which helps them identify them by name, but if someone is playing the game, they know what level is what. They don't need a synopsis of what each level nearby is, they just need help with the levels they can't beat. So, in short, I don't think we need the world pages, even if they seem a little beneficial. @{{user|Procyon}}, can you weigh in on this? --{{User:Notmyhandle/Sig}} 05:31, 29 May 2014 (UTC)
:I agree, they don't serve too much purpose.  There's not much of interest that you can say about a world in the SMB series, and even if there was anything to mention, it could probably be mentioned on the page of the first level for that world.  Test, is it cool with you if we remove those pages?  P.S. @[[User:Notmyhandle|Notmyhandle]], I'm not getting notifications when you mention my name on a talk page for some reason.  Did you get one for this? '''[[User:Procyon|<span style="color:red">Pro</span>]][[User talk:Procyon|<span style="color:grey">cyon</span>]]''' 02:12, 30 May 2014 (UTC)
:: Well, I guess you have a point. I sorta planned for there to be a world map on the world pages to illustrate how everything connects together, but I'm not good at getting map images and as you've said, it would be pretty pointless for anyone who only want to clear a particular level. What if the world pages summarize the location and method for obtaining each Star Coin, as well as any alternate exits for certain levels? It would be pretty handy for readers who can clear a stage without any problem, but might struggle with collectibles and secrets. The names of the pages won't make this immediately obvious though... [[User:T.testLP|T.testLP]]([[User talk:T.testLP|talk]]) 05:57, 30 May 2014 (UTC)
:::@[[User:Procyon|Procyon]]: yes, I got a notification that read "Procyon mentioned you on T.testLP talk page in "New Super Mario Bros. World...". Maybe we should make a small template for substing user links (I think there is a problem with the notification system and {{t|user}})? E.g. <nowiki>{{subst:u|Username}}</nowiki>. Ehh, I guess I can suck it up and type out the code ahah.
:::@[[User:T.testLP|T.testLP]]: ok yeah that makes more sense to me. The world map is quite handy. If made correctly, we could even implement an image map to make the circles clickable/link to the guide sub-pages. We really want to refrain from having to update two separate pages for the same info, but if the world pages have an "in summary" type of section, I guess that would be fine for now. Since it is in its infant stages, I won't bug you about this anymore, mainly because I can't think of the best solution until all of the data is there and the walkthroughs are more full. --{{User:Notmyhandle/Sig}} 15:40, 30 May 2014 (UTC)
== Call for help - patrolling edits ==
Hi T.testLP, this is a public service announcement for active admins. Our unpatrolled queue is hovering around 1500 and I am having difficulty keeping up with the queue. We need your help. If you have any spare time, I would really appreciate it if you could please take a look and see if you can patrol (thoroughly) anything. Some people take this as an invite to go to a page and click the patrolled link without doing anything - that's not what I'm asking. I need quality control. If you have any questions, please let me know. The URL I use to view the whole queue at this time is [http://strategywiki.org/w/index.php?title=Special:RecentChanges&hidepatrolled=1&days=60&limit=1800 here] (60 days old, hide patrolled, show up to 1800 edits). Many thanks, --{{User:Notmyhandle/Sig}} 20:32, 20 April 2015 (UTC)
:Hi Test, thanks for your response. It is a complicated endeavor, and I don't want to overwhelm you. I have been doing this patrol gig for more years than I can remember. Najzere was better than me at it while he was active; I think he had a bot to help with some of the repetitive tasks. The simple answer is: yes, we have to patrol them all.
:Now, how you can help is a different matter. When I look through the patrol list, I don't open each diff. I look to see if they are on the same page. If a group of them are visible, I start with the first diff. Then, if it does not require any cleanup, I click Mark as Patrolled. If you wait for the page to update, it will automatically take you to the next diff. You can then skim through each unpatrolled edit for the same page without having to load up a bunch of tabs.
:Yes, trusted editors I usually do not worry about their content - e.g. Namcorules, Tedium, Onderduiker, Oddtom, and the like. These are our 'creators' - the people who focus their energy on content creation. We have to be generous in this and try to keep in mind that most people are being as honest as possible. That said, fact checking is part of my job, too. It's the only way to keep bad additions from appearing. I do a lot of cross-referencing with GameFAQs, Wikipedia, independent Wikis, and YouTube videos to find the evidence I need to confirm or refute small facts. I am more likely to fact check anonymous additions or those of someone like RodKimble than I am of you.
:Yes, grammar and spelling is part of the job. Some 'positive vandals', as I like to classify them, will add small content additions with patterns like "tHiS sO yOu hAvE tO rEwRite t3h whole thing". That is a waste of time and if they do it a lot we just ban them and wait for the next legitimate person to write the same thing without wasting our time.
:Honestly, anything you can do with certainty is what I would prefer you to do. If you can spend some time patrolling something difficult, that's awesome and I really appreciate it. But you can leave the hard ones to me, or ask me if you have any questions. Again, thank you for responding and any diff that you can patrol is helpful. One last thing: note that some diffs are guaranteed to be easy - for example redirects. You can Ctrl + F to find words in the summary, like Redirect, to find those easy ones. I start from the oldest and work my way up the list. --{{User:Notmyhandle/Sig}} 18:00, 21 April 2015 (UTC)
