It was later ported to the Famicom and NES, and published for the Sega Master System in Japan as Ancient Ys Vanished Omen or Ys: The Vanished Omens (English translations).
The game features traditional 2D RPG-style graphics and control.
Story
Land of Esteria has been overrun with forces of evil. A red haired adventurer washes to the shores, only to discover his destiny; collect all volumes of books of Ys, and defeat Dark Fact.
