The Warehouse screen lets you manage the various building materials you have purchased. If for some reason you lose sight of the items, it is always possible to manage them from this screen. The warehouse is organized into three screens.
The World tab shows the items that are somewhere on the current map. This includes the open storage areas of your construction sites. By selecting the items in this list, the Store All button can be used to instantly, and for free, teleport the items to the warehouse tab.
The Warehouse tab shows any items that you have currently stored in the warehouse itself. Goods Issue lets you manage the goods selected from the warehouse, and has three options.
It is important to first select items from the world or warehouse tabs first, then switching to the goods issue tab in order to manage them.
- Sell: Sells the items.
- Deliver to yard: Moves the items from the warehouse to a yellow loading area at the closest company premises. Forklifts are provided nearby to load onto trucks if a mobile crane isn't available.
- Deliver to construction site: Moves the items directly to the open storage area of the selected construction site, for a fee. This eliminates the transportation requirement entirely, but a crane at the site is still necessary to use the items on the construction site itself.
As delivering the items to the yard doesn't require any money, it is possible to teleport items for free between your two company premises.
Taking this a step further, it is also possible to bypass the building material store's fee of delivering to your warehouse by using this option.
- Purchase your items from the building material supplier. At checkout, select the Deliver to Yard option.
- Close the map and go to the Warehouse screen.
- On the World tab, select the items you just purchased and click Store All.
- On the Warehouse tab, select the items, then click on the Goods Issue tab.
- Deliver the items to yard (which is your nearest company premises) for free.
With this method, you can skip driving to the building material supplier at all, and rally all your cargo trucks at your company premises instead.
Inventory[edit]
The Small Concrete Bucket and Large Concrete Bucket can be used by cranes to pour small amounts of concrete at higher altitudes. All other items are used only for contracts and serve no construction purpose.
