Kirby: Planet Robobot is a 2D platforming game in the Kirby series. Following up on the gameplay of Kirby: Triple Deluxe, this game was released in Japan and South Korea on April 28, 2016, and in North America, Europe, and Australia on June 10, 2016. Two of the minigames were enhanced and released on the Nintendo eShop as Team Kirby Clash Deluxe and Kirby's Blowout Blast.
The game begins with an organization known as the Haltmann Works Company invading Planet Popstar with a robot army and mechanizing the entire world. When Dedede and Meta Knight fail to stop the invaders, it is up to Kirby to find and defeat the ones responsible.
