Namco's Japan-only 1993 quiz arcade game Nettou! Gekitou! Quiztou!! is divided into thirty-six squares; for each square, you'll have to answer a preset number of (three-script Japanese) questions correctly in order to help advance your character to the next one. When you answer a question correctly, a yellow "O" will appear next to your chosen number and the amount of seconds you have remaining will be added to your score as your animal opponent is blown away (or explodes, if it was the last question you needed to answer correctly) - but, if you answer any question incorrectly, a red "X" will appear next to your chosen number and your character will lose a "life-jewel" as your opponent suddenly goes for you. The introductory cutscene goes like this:

おだやかな南の海に浮かぶ魔島、 (Odayakana minami no umi ni ukabu ma shima,)

The Hiragana/Kanji text Anata no shokugyō wo eran kudasai. (あなたの職業を選んください.) will then appear at the top of the screen as it proceeds to the start screen; up to three other players will then have ten seconds to insert their coins and press their Start Buttons, to join in with the game, and once the time is up, the protagonist characters (and Chisokojin, if there are less than four players) will take their starting positions in the corners of the island. This Walkthrough will cover the island's thirty-six squares in row order, starting from the top-left one (where Kufū, or Chisokojin Bob if there's no 1P, will start).
