Once Pat and Jess have reappeared on the screen (in PAT 1!), press 
to accelerate it and push the D-Pad down to steer it down (while watching out for two traffic cones); once you have done so, you will have to steer it down again (while watching out for three more traffic cones). You will then have to push the D-Pad up to steer PAT 1 back up (while watching out for three more traffic cones) - and once you have done so, you shall have to steer it back up again (while watching out for ninth traffic cone), then down (while watching for a tenth traffic cone), up (while watching out for six more traffic cones), down (while watching out for four more traffic cones), up (while watching out for a twenty-first traffic cone), down (while watching out for two more traffic cones), up (while watching for five more traffic cones), down (while watching for seven more traffic cones), up (while watching out for a thirty-sixth traffic cone) and up again (while watching out for a thirty-seventh traffic cone). If PAT 1 hits a traffic cone, it will send it flying; once it has crossed the finishing line (where Ajay Bains is waiting), the text "Congratulations, you have completed the level!" will appear at the top of the screen. The screen will now cut to a picture of Ajay in the Greendale Rocket (with his spare railwayman's hat and four question marks below it) - and you will now proceed to Level 2-A.
