Starter Pokémon[edit]

Shouldn't the Starter Pokémon be put back at the top of the Pallet Town page, since you start with them, they're not found? — najzereT 19:20, 31 July 2009 (UTC)

Also, it's a little late, since I see you've been making up your own trainer tables, but we do have a {{pokemon trainer}} template. You can see what it looks like on this page and this page. — najzereT 21:36, 31 July 2009 (UTC)

Image categorisation[edit]

When uploading images, please make sure to categorise them using the correct image categories and the guide-specific category, i.e. [[Category:Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen images]]. The image policy is viewable here, and contains all the information you'll need to categorise future uploads. --najzereT 21:36, 31 July 2009 (UTC)

Also, the images like Image:Pokemon Youngster.png that just say "Pokemon" in the name need to have an abbreviation of the game name (like "FRLG" you put in the first couple uploads) unless they're meant to be used throughout all the games. Are these images just general Pokémon trainers, or are they only from certain games? — najzereT 21:36, 31 July 2009 (UTC)

Useful Pokémon stuff[edit]

Hey, here's some useful tools we have for working on the Pokémon guides.

  1. To make the accented "e" in "Pokémon", hold down Alt and press 1 3 0 on the number pad. Alternatively, you can copy/paste an existing one, or click on it from the "Latin" inserts below the text box.
  2. {{bp|Pokémon name}}: Produces a link to that Pokémon's page on Bulbapedia.
  3. {{bpm|Move name}}: Produces a link to that move's page on Bulbapedia.
  4. [[Bulbapedia:Page name|Page name]]: Produces a link to any page on Bulbapedia (such as Berries)
  5. [[File:Pokebuck.png]]: Produces Pokebuck.png

Or to make the é you could just press Alt Gr and E. Since najzere said it another way I'm not sure all computers do this, though. You can give it a try, anyway, as it's probably easier than pressing four different keys ;). --Melon247 Hammy, my hamster. Cute! (talk · contribs · comp) 17:41, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
That's for European keyboards, I believe. Since there's no "E" key on a Hebrew keyboard (I'm guessing), that probably won't work either. But it's a good note, since it may be easier for you to get a European English keyboard rather than a North American one. — najzereT 17:49, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
umm you 2 keep arguing about it and it doesn't really matter xD. if it bothered me i would just add to my windows uk's keyboard since it got all the misc letters. thanks for trying to help though. (Blerian 17:53, 1 August 2009 (UTC))

2 hours work =\[edit]

is there any chance to revive what i've done on the edit? it gave me a "this page has been expired" now its all gone damn long routes.

It's unlikely you can recover it, unless you can go back in your browser's history and you're using Firefox. You might consider doing big edits in a text editor to avoid that, or just hit "Show preview" intermittently to keep your browser interested. — najzereT 18:17, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
yer i didn't lose as much as i thaught, only 1 table.. lucky.
