Welcome to StrategyWiki![edit]

Hello L-Dawg! Welcome to StrategyWiki. Thank you for your contributions. If you have any questions, just contact a sysop through their talk page or post on the staff lounge, and they'd be happy to help. If you need help editing, check the StrategyWiki Guide. If you have a question about the content on this wiki, you can check out our staff lounge page. If you want to ask questions or hang out in IRC, we're usually around. On the other hand, if you have ideas for StrategyWiki, bring them up on the forums. Please remember to sign your name on, and only on, talk pages by clicking Wikisigbutton.png or using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Finally, please do your best to always fill in the edit summary field as this helps to document all of your hard work. Feel free to delete this message from your talk page if you like, or keep it for reference. Happy editing! -- Skizzerz 01:13, 5 September 2008 (UTC)

Also, what game is the *Controls page you made for? Reply here (click the "Edit" tab on top, then leave your comment below mine) in 3 days or I will delete the page. In the future, please read the guide (linked to above and via the "Help" link in the sidebar) for information on how to correctly name and format pages. Thank you. --Skizzerz 01:13, 5 September 2008 (UTC)

Reply[edit]

The *Controls Page is the controls for Turok(2008)

 1. Please read the StrategyWiki Guide.
 2. If you're not sure how to do something properly, edit a similar page and look to see how it should be done properly. Do not guess.
 3. If you're still not sure, ask a question in the Staff lounge.
 4. Once again, and I cannot stress this enough, read the StrategyWiki Guide. Procyon (Talk) 14:06, 5 September 2008 (UTC)

I rolled back your edits to Dynasty Warriors 6 because it looked like you were attempting to create a Table of Contents by editing the main guide page directly. You need to add those items to the Table of Contents page Dynasty Warriors 6/Table of Contents, and you need to format the links correctly with the name of the guide (for best results use Page Name Here) --~Vizeroth · (c)~-- 03:09, 28 March 2009 (UTC)

Making large edits[edit]

Hey, L-Dawg, great job on the Dynasty Warriors 5 page! Just wanted to let you know that you can use the "Edit" tab at the top of the page to edit the whole page at once, instead of clicking the "Edit" button at the top right of every section. This should make it easier for you to do the large, whole-page edits you're doing like on the Shu Warrior page. Hope that helps, - najzere 20:36, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

Page layout[edit]

Please go back into Fallout 3/Small Guns and add Header Nav and Footer Nav templates to the page. You can find all the information you need on guide layout and organization here. When you create a new page, you can use the "Guide page" button above the edit box to insert the Nav templates automatically. When you back into the Small Guns page, use the StrategyWiki markup links for the Header and Footer Navs below the edit text box. The Header Nav goes above any page content, and the Footer goes below. Thanks for adhering to our policies and guidelines. - najzere 02:39, 7 December 2008 (UTC)

header/footer navs and basepagename[edit]

Thank you for adding header and footer navs to your pages, but try using the 'Show Preview' button to get an idea of what things look like before saving. The tags in the page will automatically fill themselves out correctly, and if you were to replace them, you would replace them with the guide's name, not the name of the page you're editing. Thanks for the good work on Dynasty Warriors 6. Oh, and you can use ~~~~ to sign your posts on talk pages, or just click the signature button above the edit box (next to the no W button) --~Vizeroth · (c)~-- 23:48, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
