Requested guides
Apart from completely ignoring the request template when requesting a guide, you haven't actually requested a specific guide; just a few pages. Added to that, you created the pages just to ask for them to be written by someone else, which doesn't help anyone, and is actually counter-productive, because it makes people think the pages have been written, by the fact that they exist. I hope in future you'll pay more attention to the way StrategyWiki works before diving in and asking things of the community. --DrBob (talk) 01:09, 17 January 2008 (CST)

Another warning
Can you please stop creating guides with no useful content and just a request to people asking them to write a guide. People will write the guides when they get around to it, and putting requests like that up isn't going to help. Use the requested guides page correctly to notify people of the guides you'd like to see, and maybe someone will write them. Advance Wars + note
I hadn't realized the new one was out already, yay. If you want I could take a break on my current projects and focus on fixing up/adding to one of the previous Advance Wars pages(I have the previous 3 games stashed away somewhere). Is there a specific section or aspect you need help with or want to see finished up?
note - The template buttons right above the box where we enter text are really useful when starting a new page. For example the Guide page one adds the footers and headers that make navigation between pages in a guide easyer. - I have deleted what you added to the Heatseeker page. Please try to put the information on a proper subpage to keep the guide organized. To do this, visit the Heatseeker/Table of Contents page and add a link (just follow the format there). Save the page and then click the link you just created. On that page, there will be a "Guide page" button at the top. Click that and add in any information that belongs there. For reference, the information you added earlier can be found here. - I saw your contributions to the Command & Conquer/GDI units. If you know you will be adding a lot of information to a page, instead of editing section by section, please try to use the edit button at the top of the page and add all the information in one edit. Final Warning
Understand this very carefully. The only reason you are logged in and reading this is because I decided, against my better judgment, not to ban you. You have always been, and continue to be, a negative influence around this community, and I'm very tired of it. You don't seem to understand how this site operates, and you don't appear to have any patience or desire to comprehend the idea of collaborative contributions. If you keep up this attitude and spew your venom throughout more talk pages I will ban you from editing on StrategyWiki. I want to be very clear about this. You will be prevented from making any more edits. If you don't want to lose this privilege, pay attention to the following suggestions.
- No one is required to add guides for the games you request. If someone feels like working on a requested guide, they are free to do so if they like, but no one is required to. The fact is, no one may ever add your requested guides. Deal with it.
- People make spelling mistakes. It's a fact of life. If you see that someone made a spelling mistake, go and edit the page to correct the spelling and stop being a whiny little bitch about it.
- Games only appear in Category pages if the page exists, and the correct Category label has been applied to the page. If a game is missing from the Category page, it is most likely because a guide for that game doesn't exist. If it does exist, and you think it belongs to a Category, add the Category label yourself, and shut the hell up about the fact that it's missing.
Again, let me make this very clear: No one cares about your agenda. This is a community site, and it is built through collaboration and teamwork. Either get with the program or get lost. Rushing, turtling, etc.
You can't just create pages like "Rushing" and "Turtling" which aren't sub-paged and in a guide. All pages have to be part of a guide, and as such I've deleted those pages, since they didn't have much content anyway. While I can see that a general page for strategies for all RTS games might be an idea, you should bring it up on Community Issues first, and let the community discuss it and determine the best way to do it.
Additionally, all the images you've uploaded this morning will have to be re-uploaded, as they don't have the game name in their filenames. For example, "Orcagunship.jpg" should be "CnCTS_Orca_gunship.jpg", to show that the image is for Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars. Please think and check what you're doing before you do it, or people will continue to be angry with you, and you will get banned. --DrBob (talk) 01:14, 8 February 2008 (CST)

Advance Wars: Days of Ruin Guide - Regional Differences
Do me a favor and stop deleteing what I've written. Understand that I have the EU version so what I've written is right for the EU version and not made up rubbish ok?
If what I have written is different in another version (US version) add it in with a forward dash (e.g. Brenner / O’Brain / Brown, where Brenner is the US name, O'Brain is EU and Brown is the JAP version).
I'm getting tired of you deleteing what I've written so please stop. I don't mind people editing and adding to what I've written...in fact, I wish more people would but please understand that there are regional differences. Firenova 07:44, 9 February 2008 (CST)

- Edits made to Advance Wars: Days of Ruin/COs on the 9 February 2008 is one example where you deleted the EU version instead of using forward dashs. There are other examples but there's little point in me going though all your records. Starcraft 2 images
Please name your images correctly with the game initials in front of them so Image:Mothership.jpg will become Image:SC2_Mothership.jpg, this will tell people which game it is from. Image naming

Well Im Sorry but the only one who edit the CNC articles and images were just me. Everyone else that edit CNC articles and images are over here http://cnc.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page. Why dont you go over there and ask those users to come here and upload better images at this Wiki?(MrSue 23:29, 27 February 2008 (CST))
- It's not the quality of the images, it's how you upload them. Improper naming, categorization, and display take away from the aesthetics of the site. Having all the great information is useless if noone wants to read it. Please just follow the guidelines (they aren't very hard to follow) and everyone will be happy.
- As a summary, here's what needs to be fixed:
- When copying information from another site, tell where you got it from in the summary. (Got data from http: //site.com/page)
- Name each image so that it has the name of the game (or at least an acronym). Ex. CnC3 MARV.jpg
- When adding images to a page, if you use thumb (must be lower case) do not put a size (don't add 200px)
- Verify the file format. This one is a bit tough, so we're not too worried about it (the browser will handle it usually). The easiest way to verify if it is correct is simply to check on the image page. It should say "MIME type: image/xxx" just below the image. That is the correct format for the image, so it's filename should be the same type.
- If you have any problems with any of this, feel free to ask questions (on my talk page or on the Staff lounge). As long as you make the effort to follow the policies, everyone will benefit :). Happy editing -- Prod (Talk) 23:46, 27 February 2008 (CST)
- Much better :). I forgot one last thing. If you could mark any images you no longer need with {{delete}} we'd appreciate it. Some people look around now and then for unused images, but tagging them for attention is a great help. We'll delete whatever you don't need so we only keep the best stuff. Multiple edits to the same page
Please try to consolidate your edits into one large edit. You've made about 15 edits to Battalion Wars 2/Units within 20 minutes, and they could all have been combined into one if you were more patient. Copyright violation
You cannot copy text directly from other sites in large quantities like you are. Most of them have notices at the bottom stating that the work is copyrighted. You may copy from wikipedia if you reference them, but most other websites are not allowed. You can copy a sentence or two, but you must say where you got the sentence from. OKAY I ADMIT IT. I got it from Wikia. Wikia is the most up to date website with Starcraft Wiki, Command and Conquer Wiki and almost everything. Its like Sixflags amusement park only its on a website where you can treat it like a playground.
