Welcome to StrategyWiki![edit]

Hello XDivineHolyx! Welcome to StrategyWiki. Thank you for your contributions. If you have any questions, just contact a sysop through their talk page or post on the staff lounge, and they'd be happy to help. If you need help editing, check the StrategyWiki Guide. If you have a question about the content on this wiki, you can check out our staff lounge page. If you want to ask questions or hang out in IRC, we're usually around. On the other hand, if you have ideas for StrategyWiki, bring them up on the community portal talk page. Please remember to sign your name on talk pages by clicking Wikisigbutton.png or using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Finally, please do your best to always fill in the edit summary field as this helps to document all of your hard work. Feel free to delete this message from your talk page if you like, or keep it for reference. Happy editing! -- Skizzerz Scissors.pngSafety Skizzerz Talk · Contribs · Spel Chek™ · VFG · RTFM 09:32, 19 June 2007 (CDT)

Also, please use proper grammar and check the factuality of your edits before you save them here. I reverted your edits because they gave an incredibly unprofessional feel to the guide, plus they used external links to pictures. We discourage such links, as pictures should be uploaded here on our server via Special:Upload (read the Images section of our usage guide to see how you should do it). If you have verified the factuality of the new monsters and upload the images here with the correct names and transparent backgrounds (see the other monster images to see what I mean by that), then feel free to re-add your info with the correct punctuation, capitalization, and grammar. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask me on my talk page, another admin on their talk page, or ask at the staff lounge. Thank you. --Skizzerz Scissors.pngSafety Skizzerz Talk · Contribs · Spel Chek™ · VFG · RTFM 09:41, 19 June 2007 (CDT)
Read the above comment, and the StrategyWiki usage guide, before you contribute again. --Skizzerz Scissors.pngSafety Skizzerz Talk · Contribs · Spel Chek™ · VFG · RTFM 10:20, 19 June 2007 (CDT)

Vandalism[edit]

Please don't vandalise pages like you did with the MapleStory/Monsters page. If you want to try out the system and Wikimarkup, please use the sandbox. --IsaacGS 23:00, 20 June 2007 (CDT)

The reason IsaacGS and I (among a few others) are really getting on your case for this is because you don't back up any of your claims. The MapleStory article and sub-pages (especially MapleStory/Monsters) have gotten more than their fair share of vandalism in the past. Therefore, we are naturally skeptical of any unsourced statements or additions made to the page that cannot be easily verified. If you found a reliable (key word being reliable) source, put the URL in the edit summary so one of us can check it and make sure that it is accurate. Also, make sure that you follow the formatting of the page (and upload the images using Special:Upload instead of linking to them externally) and use good grammar convhttp://strategywiki.org/w/skins/common/images/button_sig.png

Your signature with timestampentions. Failure to give a source for your work will probably be classified as a "blatant lie" by IsaacGS (bring it up with him, not with me), and will subsequently be reverted by him. Failure to upload an image or follow formatting or grammar conventions common across StrategyWiki (read the editing guide if you need to know about something) will be grounds for an instant-revert by me (no matter how true the info being added). If you have any questions, feel free to contact one of us on our talk pages, on the MapleStory discussion page, or at the staff lounge. If you feel that either I or one of the other MapleStory contributors is being unfair to you, bring it up with an administrator (other than me, of course :P), and see what their (hopefully neutral) opinion is on the matter. Thanks, and I hope that you will have numerous good contributions in the future! --Skizzerz Scissors.pngSafety Skizzerz Talk · Contribs · Spel Chek™ · VFG · RTFM 23:47, 20 June 2007 (CDT)

To add to that a little bit, I don't pretend to be the one who knows everything. I'll check it before I revert it, and there's absolutely no reference on the European website to them updating to .27. On the contrary, they're having an ordinary server check tonight. So that was very plainly false. Some of your other Contributions were positive, so I'm rather perplexed as to what your goal is here. --IsaacGS 23:54, 20 June 2007 (CDT)

You're being warned again. Do not vandalise pages. If you vandalise or spam another page, you're banned. Please contribute to StrategyWiki sensibly. --IsaacGS 18:33, 10 July 2007 (CDT)

We make the patch pages directly from the patch notes, so the spelling and grammar mistakes made it an instant candidate for bs. Also, I was just on MapleStory Global about 10 minutes ago, and it was still version .39. I really don't know what is going on, as a lot of your contributions are positive, yet you have a few negative ones in there as well. My only thought is that someone who likes to invent new patches knows your StrategyWiki password, or they go onto a computer that you use and have the "remember me" option enabled, so I'd suggest changing your password and/or logging out after you are done with each session. --Skizzerz Scissors.pngSafety Skizzerz Talk · Contribs · Spel Chek™ · VFG · RTFM 18:49, 10 July 2007 (CDT)
