Killea Bog[edit]

Victory condition: Defeat all enemies
Defeat condition: Death of the hero
Basic reward: 25.000 G
Items:

  • Naigama (spear) - V0, H22 (chest)
  • X-boom (throwing weapon) - V8, H23 (hidden)
  • Magibook (accessory) - V9, H13 (chest)
  • Map-A - V9, H6 (hidden)
  • Map-4 - V11, H18 (hidden)

Relatively easy battle. The battlefield essentially consists of a series of raised wooden paths, above a pond. There are no winged enemies, so enemy units are forced to come towards you following predefined paths. It is therefore easy to attack them with your magicians and archers, then eventually finishing them off with your warriors. There are two wizards among the enemies, but one can only heal enemy units. Try to eliminate them quickly with your spells and attack items and you should have no problem winning the fight, especially if you brought some Maxiherbs with you. In this battle you should dedicate a character (equipped with a Wing Armor) exclusively to collecting treasures or almost so. In fact, there are several useful items to collect, including two maps that allow you to access a secret battlefield, essential for finding the Vandal Hearts sword.

Polata Ruins[edit]

Victory condition: Defeat all enemies
Defeat condition: Death of the hero
Basic reward: 26.000 G
Items:

  • C-heels (accessory) - V0, H0 (hidden)
  • G-coater (accessory) - V18, H0 (hidden)
  • Angelrod (staff) - V8, H15 (chest)
  • E-punch (special weapon) - V12, H0 (chest)

In this battle the hero is initially isolated from the rest of the group, in the center of the battlefield, while the other characters are found on a hill to the north. First, you must protect the hero, reuniting him with the rest of the group as soon as possible. Don't make him fight alone. Once you do this, the battle isn't very difficult. There are no wizards among the enemies and the terrain gives you an advantage. Your wizards and archers can remain safely on the hill you are on at the beginning, targeting the enemies that will progressively come towards you from below, while your warriors will have to go down and attack them directly. Even in this case, however, you have to send one of your characters to collect the treasures, which are mostly found at the bottom of the battlefield.

Dybosa Ridge[edit]

Victory condition: Defeat all enemies
Defeat condition: Death of the hero
Basic reward: 27.000 G
Items:

  • Beacon (accessory) - V1, H3 (hidden)
  • Pickax (special weapon) - V14, H17 (chest)
  • Stoneye (shield) - V17, H16 (chest)
  • Hint-7 - V18, H7 (hidden)
  • W-cape (accessory) - V17, H16 (hidden)

This battle is among the toughest in this chapter. In fact, your group will be at a great disadvantage due to the terrain. At the beginning you will find yourself at the foot of a high ridge. At the top there are two archers who can target you with arrows. From their position they have a very long range and can cause devastating damage. They can even take out your low-HP characters in one shot, so be careful. Then there are two wizards: one on the left, who can attack you and heal enemy units and one on the right, who can cast the powerful Blizzard spell. The other enemies shouldn't cause too much trouble, as long as you don't neglect them. Climbing the ridge is really hard and takes a long time, especially for characters with Heavy Armors. To avoid the archers' attacks in the meantime, you must act wisely, perhaps leaving a character with his back turned to them, then moving him immediately to the next turn, so that their attack misses. Use your Wing Armor characters to climb the steps on the left to reach the top of the ridge and take out the archers. In the meantime, the other characters, to make the task easier, will have to eliminate the wizard, with spells and attack items. If you manage to get to the top of the ridge and eliminate the archers, the battle is practically won and killing any last enemies will be a joke. There are five items to collect here, so you will have to dedicate a character to this task too. However, you should only do this after eliminating the archers and most of the enemies, or it would be too dangerous.

Aposs Port[edit]

Victory condition: Defeat warden Mohosa
Defeat condition: Death of the hero
Basic reward: 28.000 G
Items:

  • G-cap (accessory) - V20, H21 (hidden)
  • Tower (shield) - V20, H31 (chest)
  • Tower (shield) - V22, H0 (chest)
  • C-socks (accessory) - V22, H30 (hidden)

Here you will meet Mohosa again and this time you have to defeat him. He is more dangerous than the last time you met him and has 380 HP. The battlefield is a kind of square path with a small islet in the center, reachable from the north. Mohosa will remain on this islet until you have eliminated most of the enemies. Both on the right and on the left there is a small group of enemies armed with swords and bows that should not cause you any problems. It is not necessary to divide the group, you can defeat them one after the other. But then two wizards will come forward. One can heal enemy units and put your characters to sleep, while the other uses attack spells. They are both very insidious, so try to eliminate them quickly, in the usual way. Last but not least, Mohosa. Given his HP value, it is advisable to weaken him with ranged attacks before facing him directly. Watch out for his Dragonfire attack, which does decent damage to multiple characters. To finish him off, surround him with your characters with the best defense. Even in this case, however, be careful: Triple Slash causes huge damage and can eliminate a character with a low HP value in one shot, while Ax-vortex causes more than 70 points of damage to all characters around him. So only surround him when you can finish him off quickly. Once defeated, Mohosa will flee. Unfortunately this is not the last time you will meet him. There are four items to collect here, two of which are on an islet that can only be reached with a Wing Armor.

Tehapi Dunes[edit]

Victory condition: Defeat all enemies
Defeat condition: Death of the hero
Basic reward: 29.000 G
Items: none

This battlefield is rather small and square. It essentially consists of a pit in the desert, with enemies clustered at the bottom and your characters at the edge of the pit. The terrain therefore gives you a good advantage and the battle is easy, as long as you don't underestimate it. There is only one enemy, made up of a main body, exactly in the center of the pit and eight claws, which however act as independent enemies. The claws are all the same and quite easy to defeat. They have no spells or long-range attacks. Their attack can poison you, however, so prepare accordingly. The main body has 300 HP and a fairly powerful attack, which however has a very limited range of action, furthermore it will always remain stationary at the bottom of the pit, so it is really easy to defeat. You can safely attack it from a distance with archers and spells, and then eventually finish it off with some powerful close-range attacks. There are no items to collect here. However, if you return to this battlefield after winning the battle, you will find yourself in a completely different environment, where you can find some very useful items (see specific section).

Liuki Checkpoint[edit]

Victory condition: Defeat all enemies
Defeat condition: Death of the hero
Basic reward: 29.000 G
Items:

  • Puggio (dagger) - V4, H3 (chest)
  • Philbook (accessory) - V5, H4 (hidden)
  • Ancient (shield) - V15, H23 (chest)
  • L-slab (accessory) - V5, H16 (hidden)
  • Hint-8 - V6, H16 (hidden)
  • Urn (special weapon) - V7, H8 (chest)

This battle is not among the easiest. The terrain doesn't help you much. In fact, you will start from a disadvantaged position, lower than most of the battlefield. Unless you're wearing Wing Armor, you'll be forced to go up a narrow passage to the right or left. In both cases you will encounter two enemies with swords and an archer, but they are more of a nuisance than a threat. However, two wizards who are higher up are to be feared. Both can both heal enemy units and attack you with their spells and can therefore create problems for you as you are slowed down by the aforementioned enemies. Try to eliminate them quickly with your spells, attack items or by reaching them with flying characters. There are also two wingers among the enemies, which can deal decent damage to you. Once you have eliminated the wizards and reached the highest part of the battlefield it is easy to eliminate the last enemies. There are quite a few items to collect here, so dedicate a character with a Wing Armor to this task, as usual.

Yuggor Station[edit]

Victory condition: Defeat Jamir
Defeat condition: Death of the hero
Basic reward: 30.000 G
Items:

  • Ringrod (staff) - V0, H28 (chest)
  • Runners (accessory) - V7, H28 (hidden)
  • Tower (shield) - V14, H15 (chest)
  • Shades (accessory) - V13, H17 (hidden)

This battlefield is comparable to a zigzag causeway between railroad tracks. Only characters with Wing Armor can go down onto the tracks. The first group of enemies that will come towards you consists of two knights and an archer and should not cause you any problems. But then a larger group will come forward, including a wizard capable of causing massive damage. Try to eliminate him as soon as possible from a distance and face the remaining enemies calmly, putting characters with the Recovermark skill on the front line. More or less at the same time you will be reached by three wingers armed with spears, which you should try to eliminate or weaken from a distance with your archers, who will have the terrain to their advantage. In the meantime, you can dedicate the usual winged character to collect treasures, since they are found in positions rarely visited by enemies. In this battlefield you will need to have the Blockbreak skill (obtainable from the Maracas weapon) to reach a chest hidden behind some crates. Like many bosses, Jamir will only start to come forward after defeating almost all of his troops. He doesn't have much mobility, so it will take him a while to reach your group. Take advantage of it to heal and organize yourself, because Jamir is definitely powerful. His most dangerous attack is Zero Dash, which allows him to make a great leap forward, while causing enormous damage to all characters who are in his path. Double Slash also does a lot of damage to a single character. So try to surround Jamir with your strongest characters and quickly take away his 300 HP. Once defeated, Jamir will flee. But you will meet him again, unfortunately.

East Railroad[edit]

Victory condition: Defeat Manon
Defeat condition: Death of the hero
Basic reward: 30.000 G
Items:

  • Bullion (acessory) - V2, H32 (hidden)

This battle takes place on two moving trains. You can't go down the tracks, even with Wing Armor. You start the battle from the opposite corner from where Manon is located. There are two narrow passages connecting the two trains. You can take whatever you prefer, in any case you will find yourself having to face a small group of three enemy knights. You should defeat them pretty easily. Better if you tackle them both, one after the other. However, while you fight them you will certainly also be attacked by a wizard, who can reach you with his spells even from the other train. He can cause decent damage to you with Darkcloud and can also heal enemy units, so eliminate him as soon as possible with attack items and spells. Manon will only come forward when you have defeated her entire army. She's probably even more dangerous than Jamir: she actually has over 400 HP and two Recover Marks in her shield, so defeating her takes time. Her Gravestench attack causes heavy damage and has a very large area of influence. So try to avoid it as much as possible and don't hesitate to heal a character whose HP drops below 80. The ideal is to trap Manon on one of the narrow passages, between two of your strong characters and attack her mercilessly from one side and the other. After defeating her, she will also flee, but you will meet her again shortly. There is only one item to collect here, of little use, but which you can sell for a good 50.000 G.

Gabhul Castle 1[edit]

Victory condition: Defeat Jamir and Manon
Defeat condition: Death of the hero
Basic reward: 30.000 G
Items:

  • Ancient (shield) - V2, H17 (chest)
  • Saviorod (staff) - V15, H17 (chest)

Here you will face two bosses on the same battlefield for the first time, so it won't be an easy fight. As usual, eliminate the secondary enemies first, which are initially located on the sides. Stop before the stairs, so that you are out of range of enemies who can attack from a distance. The enemy knights will come at you a automatically and you can easily eliminate them. But then a wizard will come forward. He can both heal enemy units and damage you with Darkcloud: eliminate him quickly from a distance. Also keep an eye on the archer, who has a good range. In any case, never rush towards the two bosses: if you stay at a distance they will come forward one at a time. This is essential to not make the battle too complicated. When you have eliminated most of the enemies, Manon will start to approach. She is exactly as you met her the last time, with 415 HP. Try to keep your characters spaced out, so that her Gavestench's attack misses or doesn't hit more characters. Once Manon has cast it three times, it will be relatively easy to surround her and finish her off. Jamir will then step forward. This time he has 350 HP, but no longer has the very dangerous Zero Dash attack. Be careful though, because Double Slash causes more than 100 points of damage to a single character. So make sure you don't have characters with low defense within his attack range, because Jamir could eliminate them in one hit. Weaken him from a distance first if you can, then surround him with your strongest characters and finish him off. Once defeated, Jamir and Manon will flee, but this won't be the last time you meet them. There are two chests in this battlefield, quite easy to reach for a character wearing a Wing Armor.

Gabhul Castle 2[edit]

Victory condition: Defeat Jacob
Defeat condition: Death of the hero
Basic reward: 30.000 G
Items:

  • Hint-9 - V7, H0 (hidden)
  • Bugeyes (accessory) - V0, H22 (chest)
  • W-Cape (accessory) - V14, H22 (chest)

In the last (and most difficult) battle of this chapter, you will face the Blood Knight leader Jacob, who is even more dangerous than Jamir and Manon and also has many helpers. At least, in this battle you will have a new ally, Agress, who will be part of your group from now on. She is equipped with a shield, a sword, heavy armor and no items. The battlefield is very simple and rather small. There is only one step about halfway up. Even in this case, you should not get close to the boss and stay behind the steps, the enemies will come towards you automatically. The first to come forward will be four knights, two on the right and two on the left. It is not strictly necessary to divide the group. While you fight them, two wizards will probably come forward: one can heal enemy units and the other can cast Mini on your characters. So be very careful not to get hit and try to eliminate this wizard as soon as possible. Also try to learn the anti-Mini skill before this fight. Once the knights are defeated, four wingers will come towards you. These are easier to defeat, given their low HP value, but their attacks are still quite powerful. When you have defeated almost all the enemies, Jacob, who has 450 HP, will come forward. His Windstorm attack is very powerful and should be avoided as much as possible. It deals almost 100 points of damage to characters hit, or even more if they are weak to the Wind element. It can therefore eliminate a character with a low HP value in one hit. The same goes for his physical attack, which he typically starts using after running out of spells. The strategy to defeat Jacob is the usual: weaken him as much as possible with ranged attacks, then surround him with your strongest characters and finish him off. However, remember to keep your characters healed, given the power of his attacks. At the end of the battle, he too will flee. There are three items to collect here: one hidden behind your starting position, which you can reach very easily, and two in chests at the back of the battlefield. Send your character to collect the items while the rest of the group fights Jacob.
