Player[edit]

Zombie Hunter player.png

You control the player as he attempts to battle his way through six stages and defeat Dolgo. You can walk, attack, and jump. You begin the game at Level 1 with a starting amount of Hit Points. In order to raise levels, you must fight and defeat monsters and earn experience for your successful battles. As you fight, monsters will attack and damage you. If your hit points are ever reduced to 0, you will die and the game will be over. There are no extra lives, and no chances to continue. It is important to revitalize yourself through the use of food and potions when your health dips to dangerous levels. It is also important to equip yourself with pieces of armor and other defensive items to reduce the amount of damage you take from enemy attacks. Newly selected items always replace currently equipped items, even if the strength of the new item is less than the old item, so be careful not to replace your armor with weaker armor. You attack enemies with whichever item is shown in the right-most position of your inventory. You can change the active weapon through the action menu, or by pressing Select button to cycle through your available inventory.

Action Menu[edit]

The action menu appears whenever you press Start button during game play. Press A button to select a command, or press B button to cancel and back out to the main menu. Press B button or Start button while the main menu is displayed to return to the game.
