Taunts
You're too slow!
—Sonic taunting his foes when the player presses both 1 and 2.
- First taunt with
will make him do an awesome stance. - Second taunt with
will make him say "come on step it up". - Final taunt with both + will make him taunt the foes with "you're too slow".
Final Smash
Super Sonic: Sonic turns to a golden color making him able to fly over the stage. When you are transformed into Super Sonic, you can tackle your enemies and blow them away with an electric shock.
Hidden Secret
A hidden secret has been found by few SSBB players. It is incredibly hard to pull off but the result will enable you to play with knuckles for the rest of the match.
Note: All the steps after selecting battlefield must be done in 1:00.
The way to do this is to make it an 11 stock battle. Make it a 1v1v1 match with the characters being Sonic, Mario, and Luigi. Once you have done this choose the stage "Battlefield". Get all three characters to taunt(Any) at the exact same time. After doing this get whoever is using Sonic to do this sequence on the joystick on arrow pad really fast: Up - Down - Up - Down - Left - Left - Right - Down - Down - Left - Left - Right - Left - Down - Down. After doing this get all characters to taunt simultaneously once again. The final step is to get Mario and Luigi up to exactly 75%. KEEP SONICS PERCENTAGE AT ZERO. Finish of by taunting with Sonic.
Once you have completed all these steps Sonic will transform into knuckles.
