In the E3 trailer for Super Smash Bros. Brawl, it was revealed that upon grabbing an orb, a "Smash Move" would take place. In Link's case, he attacked Mario furiously with his sword as Mario was trapped between two Triforce symbols. Mario shot numerous fireballs from his hands. Nintendo has recently revealed a picture of the item, but it is very blurry.
Nintendog?
One of the images from the Super Smash Bros. Brawl website, (Super Smash Bros. Dojo) was a giant picture of a puppy from Nintendogs jumping up and blocking the screen. Nintendo has revealed that this is caused by an item, however it is still in development.
