Same as the Mahogany Gym, you slide through the ice, the first ice is: right, down, right, down, right. The second is much harder, the combination is: up, left, up, right, up, right, down, left, up, left , down, right, down , right, up and right. The next ice is essential, if you miss it, you will have to go back for it later on, and as you're using this walkthrough it's easy, just go: right, up, right, down, right, down, right, up, left, down, left, up, right. and get HM07, to get out go: left, up, right, down, right, up, right, down, left, down, left. Then go north and follow the layer round until you get to the ladder.
You got a taste of this in Pryce's Gym, but progressing past this ice field is a heck of a lot tougher. When you step on the ice floor of the path, you won't stop until you've hit a wall or a rock. It can take some planning and logic to get to where you want to go. With enough trial and error, you should be able to make your way to the right. The map shown to the right is for Gold and Silver. The name of this location describes the types of Pokémon which can be caught here, most importantly, Jynx. You need a strong ice type for the upcoming Gym and also the Elite Four and Jynx is a good choice here, with moves Ice punch and also Powder Snow available at lower levels with each level up she gets more and more powerful.
Now that you've done all that strenuous work, it is now time to see the results, go down the ladder, go left from any spot except the bottom to get a Max Potion, now take the bottom of the 4 squares and go: left, up, right, pick up the Full Heal and go down.

Now there is another patch of ice to navigate, there are two places to go, one contains the ladder, the other contains Iron, to get to them both go down, left, down, left, down, left, down, left, then go right, up, right, up, right, up, right, down, left, up, left, up, left and you have done that field

First, go north for some Protein, then take the far left piece of ice down for a PP UP, now to exit this wretched place of misery, jump down the furthest ledge to the left that you can. Before you go out it is recommended that you catch an Ice Pokémon because they are super effective against Dragon Pokémon at the next gym.
