Viridian city is now a big place because of the Pokémon League, it hosts the final Gym for Kanto, it also has a Trainer House where you can fight once per day. The trainer you fight has three Pokémon: Meganium, Typhlosion and Feraligatr, all level 50. Fighting here is a great way to earn experience.
