The King of Second Bananas has appeared as his veteran self in the latest Smash Bros. Edition, with one crazy final Smash.
Luigi's Green Missile and Super Jump Punch are keys to most of his advanced tactics. After his downward throw and the Luigi Cyclone, he can follow up with with aerial attacks that can lead to Green Missile and Super Jump Punch. Make sure your opponent thinks you're always going for an aerial attack, and they'll do anything to avoid it. This is where you catch them with a Green Missile or a Super Jump Punch immediately after they evade.
It only takes three perfect Super Jump Punches to KO most characters – fewer in some cases – and it is significantly more powerful than any of his Smash attacks. As soon as you see a character with 75% damage or more, try your hardest to hit them with it. If they're in a huge mob of people, jump into the battle and shield, dodge, or roll until you see a chance where you can KO them before your opponents do. The Super Jump Punch is very fast at executing and will execute faster than any other attack that powerful in the entire game. Making it one of (if not the) most dangerous moves in the game.
He unleashes his most powerful hand attack. When aimed upward, and fully charged, it become the most powerful attack in the game (excluding final smashes), exceeding even Ike's Eruption, and Ganondorf's Reverse Warlock Punch at high percentages. This property is extremely useful in the Home Run Contest.

Head Attack
Luigi headbutts his opponent. Has similar properties to Mario's, but with more vertical knockback.

(Smash +) or
Spin Kick
Luigi sweeps his legs 360° around his body. Again, similar to Mario's, but has more vertical knockback.
Unlike Mario's fireballs these are not affected by gravity, making it near impossible to hit opponents that aren't on the same latitude as Luigi with it.

Green Missile
Has a 1 in 8 chance of misfiring, launching Luigi a much greater distance. Used for recovering great horizontal lengths. Often recommended over his Super Jump Punch for recovery.

Super Jump Punch
Luigi always lands on his head. Using this standing right next to an opponent results in much greater damage and knockback. It is easily Luigi's deadliest KO move, being able to KO at around 50% when sweetspotted. However, it leaves Luigi very vulnerable if it misses. Use with caution.

Luigi Cyclone
Luigi spins around, damaging enemies in the process. At the end of the attack, the enemies are flung into the air. Follow this attack with an aerial attack. Also, if you repeat pressing B mid-spin, your jump will increase in height like a third jump. Which is best if done in slow motion.
He stiffens up and falls down, teetering on his stomach.
+
He does a shy little kick. This actually does damage and knocks opponents back. If performed on a edge-grabber, it will perform a homerun-bat strike downward.
Negative Zone: Luigi dances around and projects a circular field around himself that inflicts random status effects on any opponent that enters it. Those effects are:
Drastically reduced attack power.
Greater launch distance when hit.
Increased likelihood of slipping.
Steady increase in damage percentage.
Flower growth on head.
Dizziness.
Uncontrollable taunting.
Sudden sleepiness.
Decreased movement speed.
During the attack, enemies are left weak and exposed to Luigi's attacks. Recommended attacks include Luigi's Super Fire Punch and charged smash attacks. But pretty much anything (even his Down Taunt!) has the potential to be lethal.
