Star Wars: Battlefront II/Kamino
|Environment||Secret Cloning Facility|
|Hero: Obiwan Kenobi||Hero: Jango Fett|
|Hero: Han Solo||Hero: Boba Fett|
This scenario is playable by any of the four factions. The open platforms and clear lines of fire offer plenty of fun opportunities for jet-troopers and snipers, while there is some good close-combat potential in the laboratory buildings. As such it is a really fun map for both conquest and CTF games.
There are no vehicles on this map, but there are plenty of fixed laser emplacements and ammo/bacta droids to fight over.
 Single Player
In single player conquest mode, the CIS or Rebels have a distinct positional advantage on the higher platforms and will generally easily win the battle unless the Republic/Empire player can cause an upset by solo-capturing and holding a CP.
The easiest way to do this as Republic/Empire is to spawn your favorite unit type at your rearmost CP and head up towards the large saucer-shaped lab building to your "left" by crossing over the platforms and bridges. After you fight your way through an initial wave of defenders on the walkways, the going is usually clear through the back entrance where you can rest up and re-arm at a ammo- and bacta-droid conviently located there. From there it is only a short sprint into the large central lab CP, where capturing and defending the CP is facilitated by plenty of cover and concealment.
Once you have taken that objective, the pressure is off somewhat, and you can either move to flank the central platform defended by CIS/Rebels and set up a crossfire, or attempt to take the "high-ground" enemy-held platform to the rear.
Republic-There are two main strategies as the clones that can be combined into one. This strategy is most effective by using 3 or more people. One human for each squad. Squads A should spawn on the clones center platform. They should go up the ramp, control the main platform and then take the droids center CP. Any turret they encounter should be taken out as fast as possible. After they take this command post the squad should defend the command post until the other squads are ready. Squad B should spawn on the back platform. They should go take the side route to the clone factory CP and take that. If the other squads need help a few members can provide sniper support. If the squad see's any turrets they should be taken out quickly. They are to hold position until all squads are in place. Squad C should spawn on the clone factory and take the side route. They should head for the droids center command post via the right side path and assist squad A taken out turrets and laying down sniper fire as they go. Finally, once all squads are in place all that should be left is the droids sniper base. Squad A and B should spawn on the CP's they took and attack the droids final CP. Squad C should try to take out the snipers and defend the command posts. Do not let any droid get behind you. If they take one command post all squads must fall back and take that command post. All squads should take out turrets and once the command post falls you will be a few seconds away from victory.
