Included on this page are the controls for the PlayStation, Nintendo 64, Windows 9x, Sega Dreamcast, GameCube, and Game.com versions of Resident Evil 2. The interface is the same for all versions of Resident Evil 2; keymaps can also be customized in the Windows 9x version.

PlayStation controls

  • Up dpad Move character forward
  • Down dpad Move character backwards
  • Left dpad Turn character left
  • Right dpad Turn character right
  • Start button Pause game
  • Start button + Select button Options menu
  • L1 button No use
