Ginyu is the leader of the Ginyu Special Force. He may be referred to as Ginyuu in other versions. He powers-up Ki at an average rate and his moves also take a lot of Ki to execute, but, when in his powered-up forms, (Level 2 and Level 3) he is able to use being the Captain of a force as an advantage.

Moves

Level 1 Attacks

Move Move Description Input
Grapple Simply a grapple, it only works when you're close to your opponent B button
Knock Away Attacks Hit back Ki Blasts from opponents (it depends on the size of the Ki Blast) A button
Ki Shield Block any attacks, close or long-range (similar to knocking away, it doesn't work against stronger attacks) Hold A button or B button
Power Up Power up Ki for stronger attacks R button
Rapid-Fire Ki Quick and small Ki Blasts that won't let your opponent get away. Although small, they do a lot of damage R button+ Tap B button
Light Ki Blast A simple Ki Blast that can get an opponent that's not within range of you, also the simplest way to win a battle Hold R button+A button
Strong Ki Blast Same as the Light Ki Blast, just stronger. It also involves more Ki to work. Hold R button+B button
Pile Driver A pile driver, it is Ginyu's special (and exclusive) melee attack. A button+B button
Dodge/Rush A quick sprint to get away from an attack or just get away to power up Ki Neutral dpad in the direction you want to go
Flying Rush Self-explanatory, a counter-part to the Rush R button+ hold Neutral dpad in the direction you want to go
Eraser Cannon You must be left or right of the opponent and have at least 50% Ki to execute. R button+A button+B button
Crusher Ball A large sphere similar to the Spirit Bomb. R button+A button+B button
Switch Ginyu brings in a member of his special force, this can either be a positive or negative move but either way wastes up Ki. R button+A button+B button

Level 2 Attacks
