Carrier Command 2 is a sequel to the 1988 video game Carrier Command. Carrier Command 2, like its predecessor, is a hybrid of vehicle simulation and real time tactics. Players must operate interfaces from the bridge of their amphibious assault ship to deploy air and amphibious assets to capture islands and defeat the enemy carrier.
Template:Continue Nav The game consists of both co-op and competitive multiplayer, with an option to play single player as well. A campaign takes the player and other friends on a relatively short and straightforward journey across the ocean, capturing islands.
While a single carrier can be crewed by a single person, the game truly comes into its own in multiplayer. In multiplayer, up to four teams, each with a carrier, can fight each other and up to four other AI teams for dominance.
For a highlight on what the carrier is capable of and its general stations, see the Gameplay section.
