Town of Baig[edit]
It has become very cold now that the Wizard has transformed into a dragon and is blocking out the sun. There's nothing left to do at this time but locate the Wizard's lair and defeat the dragon. There's one more town in the game that you may not have visited up until now. If you climbed the mountains to the north of the Cave of Karuza before defeating the Wizard at the castle, you may have found a town that was unwelcoming to women. Now that the Wizard's curse has been broken, you can access the town due to your being a man.
The town is stocked with some of the best equipment. To ensure your best chances, be sure to purchase the Murasama sword and a Steel shield. Sell off any unnecessary items, and fill up the remaining space in your inventory with Elixers and a few W antidotes in case you get poisoned. You must possess the Jump Shoes in order to defeat the game, and ideally you should have one Wing in your inventory as well. Then talk with the townsfolk to get an idea of the situation.

Ice maze[edit]
After you leave Baig through the north gate, you'll have to cross a few bridges until you get to the large island where the Wizard resides. This island is composed of a very large number of interconnected caverns. There are a total 78 different cave entrances and staircases which connect them, making for one very confusing labyrinth. The truth is that you only need to use about 7 of them to find the final tower, the rest are all distractions. You can attempt to use the maps below to help you navigate your way to the tower, or check the spoiler below for specific instructions on how to get through the maze as quickly as possible.

You can access the final tower extremely quickly if you know exactly where to go. The steps to take are as follows:
- When you first see any cave entrances, ignore the closest one on your left, and walk straight up to the farther cave entrance.
- Inside, walk to the stairs immediately to your left.
- Outside, walk to the cave immediately to your left.
- Inside, walk down and to the right to the next staircase.
- Outside, walk to the cave immediately to your right.

- Outside, walk to the cave immediately to your right.
- Inside, walk up the very long corridor to the final staircase which brings you right to the final tower.
Ice tower[edit]
The good news about the Ice tower is that it's floors are normal and don't do any of the strange space warping that the Phantom tower did, so you can easily map your way through it. The bad news is that it contains the most floors, and has the toughest enemies. Furthermore, the majority of the doors in this tower are one-way doors, so backtracking and trying a different route can be a little tedious since you must figure out how to return to the start of a branching path. The paths to the correct staircase can snake around and leave you very confused if you don't pay close attention to where you are going. Ultimately to reach the boss, you are aiming to find the staircase in the lower left corner of the third floor which rises to the fourth floor. Then you head all the way up, and all the way to the right to reach the final boss of the game.

Boss: Dragon[edit]
When you finally reach the room with the Dragon, it will congratulate you for making it all this way before attacking you. At this time, you'll need to activate your Jump Shoes as the dragon's only vulnerable spot is his head. Although it may look like you can strike the head from the ground, the game will only count strikes that are made in mid-air. The dragon attacks with fire breath, and can be quite aggressive. It a high enough level with the Muramasa, it will only take a few strikes to defeat the dragon.
If you are successful, then you must fall through the open floor to drop to the room below, where you will obtain the Legendary Sword. The sun will resume shining over the land, and you will have saved the kingdom. In order to finish the game, you must bring the sword back to the castle. Using a Wing to warp back to Ehdo is the fastest way to accomplish this. Present the sword to the King, and the game's ending will begin.
