During Normal Mode, the effects of all items except firepower (range of explosions after a bomb detonates) and number of bombs will be lost when you lose a Bomberman stock, which are treated as extra lives. All items reward players with points towards their score, with several having specific properties.
The player receives extra Bombermen stock:
- every 5000 points up until their tally reaches 10000;
- every 10000 points up until their tally reaches 20000;
- every 20000 points up until their tally reaches 40000;
- every 40000*[2(multiples of 40000)] points up until their tally reaches 40000*{2[(multiples of 40000)+1]}, and so on.
The maximum amount of Bombermen stock a player can hold is nine.
