Peace Town is the first world in Super Bomberman and is also Bomberman's hometown, where the story begins. The first two areas take place on the streets of Peace Town, the next three areas take place in the eastern Green Village (グリーンビレッジ, Gurīnbirejji), and the final three stages take place in Black Bomberman's Castle as White and Black Bomberman take down the enemies that have claimed the fortress.

Note: areas are randomly generated by a random seed in the game's programming. One of eight to twelve different areas can appear in each stage.

Most Power-ups present in each stage have a high chance to spawn from destroyed Soft Blocks or enemies. Their odds will be detailed ad hoc in parenthesis, as: (number)x Power-up ~(odds)%

Stage 1-1

Area 1-1
  • Enemies: 3x Puropen
  • Possible Power-ups: 2x Extra Bomb (~80% each), 1x Explosion Expander (~60%)

You start with only one bomb and minimal firepower. The first thing to do is search for the stage's three Power-ups quickly, as otherwise the game becomes much harder without two extra simultaneous bombs onscreen and additional firepower. Always abuse your ten second invincible period during your stage start to trigger successive explosions without harming yourself.

If you're careful, you can abuse this to kill enemies first, then search for Power-ups. Be careful not to explode any Power-ups you come across. Enemies trapped between the blocks are easier to defeat, so use that to your advantage. Placing bombs five squares long from incoming Puropen is ideal if all Soft Blocks are destroyed until then.

If you miss all of the stage's Power-ups, it isn't much of a problem, as this World is relatively easy until stage five.

Stage 1-2

Area 1-2
  • Enemies: 3x Puropen, 2x Denkyun
  • Possible Power-ups: 1x Extra Bomb (~80%),
  • Guaranteed Power-ups: 1x Ice Cream, 1x Accelerator

Take your time to welcome Denkyun, the new enemy! Denkyun takes 2 hits to be destroyed, however it compensates for that by being slow, so take care of it first placing bombs between walls adjacent to them, or far from them by four squares. Leave all three Puropen for later. You will find the accelerator, which increases your speed. Try to at least have plus one speed for all levels, as it makes avoinding bosses and faster enemies easy enough. There is also one extra bomb here, to increase the ability to drop more bombs at a time.

You can also find an Ice Cream which spawns in a random point of the arena if you explode a bomb at the exit door. Very useful for the next levels, as it maxes out the number of Bombermen in stock through points, so make sure to exit with it.

Stage 1-3

Area 1-3
  • Enemies: 9x Star Nuts
  • Possible Power-ups: 1x Extra Bomb, 1x Explosion Expander, 1x Kick
  • Guaranteed Power-ups: 1x Popsicle

A new enemy appears! Star Nuts may seem dangerous, but it only takes 1 hit to be destroyed, so be prepared to destroy a lot of them. Increase bomb capacity and firepower here. If you cannot find the Kick Power-up here, it's not a big deal since it appears at the next stage. With the kick, push on a bomb to send it to a desired location. You can stop it at any time by pressing the R Button or X Button.

If you have two or three extra bombs and one extra level of firepower, you can also pick up a Popsicle by destroying three Star Nuts with chain explosions. If you manage to nab a total of 1400 points with them, the Popsicle spawns in a random ground square. It only gives you 500 points, so even if you're maximizing your score tally, it's not very useful;

Whenever you're low on lives, farm them by kicking bombs towards enemies spawned from the exit, as points given by kicked bombs accumulate indefinitely until the timer stops. Just be careful not to die by time over. This is a good place to do so if you didn't nab the Ice Cream from stage 1-2. The popsicle can be obtained easier this way as well. Then again, here's...

Stage 1-4

Area 1-4
  • Enemies: 2x Puropen, 2x Denkyun, 2x Bakuda
  • Possible Power-ups: 1x Accelerator, 1x Indestructible Armor
  • Guaranteed Power-ups: 1x Cake

More new enemies! Bakuda can cause serious problems, as it explodes like a bomb. It is easy to defeat, it only takes one hit, but he can destroy power-ups, blocks, and the exit door, spawning more enemies and making what would be an easy level into a mess. Besides increasing the speed with another accelerator, you can stay invincible for a short time with the Indestructible Armor. Do not forget that Bakuda can destroy some enemies.

Stage 1-5

Area 1-5

Enemies: 2x Puropen, 3x Bakuda, 1x Pakupa Possible Power-ups: 1x Kick, 1x Remote Control (~80% of chance to appear) Guaranteed Power-ups: 1x Mystery Icon, 1x Time

Unfortunately, the new enemy is very difficult to defeat. Pakupa takes 3 hits to be defeated, and can devour bombs. The best strategy to destroy it is to plant bombs as far away from him. He becomes much easer to defeat by kicking bombs, as he takes damage from kicked bombs even as they're devoured. A Time Power-up can be caught here, which resets the remaining time you have to complete the area.

Absolutely f you can pick up the remote control, it will be much easier to defeat enemies as you can detonate the bomb when you want.

Stage 1-6

Area 1-6

Enemies: 2x Denkyun, 2x Bakuda, 2x Senshiyan Power-ups: 1x Extra Bomb, 1x Block Passer

Senshiyan may seem very difficult, but it is actually easier than Pakupa. It takes 3 hits to be destroyed, and also pauses to send a torrent of fire that only damages the player in touch. Try not to explode the exit regardless, as it is tiresome to deal with. There is an extra bomb that can be useful. You can also find the Block Passer. This item allows you to go through soft blocks, which makes it much easier to clean up all enemies by abusing your starting invincibility time

Stage 1-7

Area 1-7

Enemies: 3x Bakuda, 3x Senshiyan Power-ups: 1x Extra Bomb, 1x Accelerator, 1x Bomberman

This area is very simple. Destroy the enemies normally, taking care of the explosions of Bakuda and torrents of flame of Senshiyan. Another Extra Bomb can be found here. If you have not died and took all Accelerator, will be super fast with another accelerator. Here there is also a Bomberman. This item increases the number of lives of Bombermen. Collect all the power ups, because the next area is a battle against the boss.

Stage 1-8 (Boss)

Area 1-8

Boss: Bigaron Hits: 10 Hits Score: 10.000 points

Bigaron moves between blocks at a slow speed of 2, pursuing the player. It will harm players on collision. Despite its large appearance, its collision area is a single block space at the bottom of its body. Every now and then, Bigaron will suddenly stop and swing its hammer into the ground, sending several chunks of debris flying a short distance outward from the impact. The debris will harm players on collision.

Strategy

Plant bombs near it to destroy it. Take care when he slams his hammer on the ground.
