Spirit's Grave

This is your first real dungeon. From the entrance, head east. Kill the Gels and push the bottom block aside. Head up.
In this room you are introduced to your first puzzle object, the color cube. For this puzzle simply push it upwards until it is between the torches. Now go up the stairs to the left, head down, and open the chest for the Dungeon Map. The map (viewable by pressing 
) will now show all the rooms in this dungeon. Darkened rooms haven't been visited yet. Anyway, drop off the edge and solve the color block puzzle again. Head north this time.
Push the block up and open the chest to the left for the Compass. Note it tells you to listen for a noise to know if an object is hidden in the room. You'll get to hear this sound soon. See the vine things on the wall to the left? Burn 'em. Head through the opening. Kill the enemies and push the button. Open the chest for the 
Power Ring L-1 (#02). Remember you have to get it appraised before you can use it. Anyway, return to the color cube room.
Solve the puzzle again and go east. Kill the enemies and head north. Do you hear that noise? That indicates a hidden object. Kill the Ghini (the ghost) and a Small Key will drop onto the marked square. Grab it and head west. Push the block and open the north door.
Push either block away and open the chest for another Small Key. Head west. Move the inner block down and the center block right. Walk around the barrier and head east, then north.
Push the center block up, the outer blocks out, and finally the other two up. Go to either side and press the button, then do the same with the other side. The left button spawns a chest while the right makes a platform appear. Ride the platform for a Small Key. Head back south, then west, then north.
Step on the platform and get off at the top right. Push the button to the top right and claim your 
Gasha Seed. Now get back on the platform and head west. Unlock the door and head south.
Miniboss: Giant Ghini
This mini-boss is simple. Hit the mini-ghosts he shoots out and then hit him. After about six hits he goes down. A warp and a fairy appear. The fairy will heal you while the warp will return you to the dungeon entrance. Anyway, head west and unlock the southern door.
Push the outer blocks in and the center block aside, then head south. Make your way around then head north. Light the torches with the Ember Seeds (there's some in the bushes to the south if you've run out) and go down the stairs that appear.
Go down the ladder and up the other for the Power Bracelet. With this you can lift pots and rocks, simply hold the button it's equipped to and then pull back on the d-pad to pick it up. Now go back upstairs, head south, and open the chest for the 
Discovery Ring (#41) (this ring lets you detect hidden Soft Soil patches). Head south.
Push the pot onto the button and continue east. Open the chest for the Boss Key. Continue east and step on the warp. Head north and north again. Watch out for the falling hands in this room as they carry you back to the entrance. Go through the east door. Be ready for the monster ahead...
Boss: Pumpkin Head
This boss has two stages that repeat. In the first, hack at his body. When his body vanishes pick up the head and throw it as far away as you can, then slash at the fiery ghost left behind. Repeat this a few times and he will finally die. Collect the Heart Container and head north.
Walk up to the pedestal to collect the Eternal Spirit, an Essence of Time. "Even after life ends, it speaks across time to the heart."
The Maku Tree contacts you now and tells you of an Essence in the Western Woods. Sure enough, that's your next destination.
Western Woods

Piece of Heart x2, Poe clock, Harp of Ages, Stationary, Stink bag, Mystery Seeds, Bombs - Tunes: Tune of Echoes
Go north, then west. Equip the power bracelet and take the stone away. Talk to the ghost. Push the tombstone and go into the hole. Talk to the ghost again and get out. Talk to the ghost once more to get the Poe clock. Lift the stone once more.
Go east, north, north, west, south, south, west. Plant the Gasha seed. Go one screen south. Lift the stone with the power bracelet. Take your third 
Piece of Heart. Go north, east, north, west and burn the tree down. Go further to the town (north, west, south, west, north) and identify the rings.
Go three screens west, then south and west. Lift the stone. If you like, you can throw it onto the Oktorok. Go west, south, east, south, west south. You should see some water in the south and have a choice to go east or west. Go west here once more. If you go to the west again, you won't be able to go further. So go north.
You'll encounter three spirits that want to play hide and seek. Go west two times and cut the southwest bush to find the first spirit. Go east, west, south and cut the southern bush to find the second spirit. Go north to return to the starting point, then north, south, north. Lift the stone to find the third spirit.
After the talk, go east and lift the stone. When the sequence is over, go north two times, then east two times. Go north two times and east two times again. Enter the house and talk to everyone. Name the child. Go out and east, north, east, south, east, north to get to Nayru's house. Enter the house.
Talk to Impa, then push the statue and go into the hidden room and down the stairs. Inside the hidden cellar, you'll find a glowing item. Take it. It's the Harp of Ages. You'll be teached the Tune of Echoes. Leave the house. After a short hint, equip the harp and play it. Enter the portal next to the house.
You're back in the past. Go west, south, west, south, west. Enter the house of the postman. Show him the Poe clock. He'll take it and you'll get a Stationary. Also maybe the people get their post now. Leave the house and go two screens west. Enter this house, step to the hole and talk to the hand. You'll exchange the Stationary for a Stink bag.
Go north and east to see a short sequence. Go west, south, south then. Lift a stone and go west. Go west, south, southeast, then south, south, west. Talk to the man to learn that there are special seeds in the woods. Go west, north, then north on the west path. Go west, south, south. Burn the tree in the west by using the Ember Seed. Climb down the stairs. Go east and defeat the monsters if you want. Take the fourth Piece of Heart. Your heart containers should be raised to five now.
Go west and leave by the stairs where you entered. Go west then. Burn the tree and go along the path (north, east, north, north). Don't buy the shield for 30 rupees here. At the end of the path, lift a stone and enter the dungeon. Lift the stone to the left and open the chest for 30 rupees.
- Optional, if you have no wooden shield yet: Follow that way until you reach another stairset. Go up there. When you're on the overworld again, talk to the bush to buy a Wooden Shield for 10 rupees. Go back to the chest then.
Go east again. Cut the bushes to the east and go along the path. In the south, lift a stone. Go one screen west then and up the stairs. When you're back at the overworld, be careful since an enemy hides under a bush. Go south when it is defeated or when you evaded it. Use the sword to take the seed from the tree. You get the Mystery Seeds. Use one mystery seed on the owl statue. To select it in the inventory, select the satchel and choose the green (right) seeds.
Go back to the north, then through the cave (use the eastern way out). Be careful about an enemy that hides under a bush. When you're out, go south. Watch the sequence where a soldier takes you to the palace. Talk to the guards and go to the queen. You'll lose all of your mystery seeds. Don't worry, you'll find some under bushes later. In exchange you get 10 bombs. Watch the sequence and you'll find yourself outside Ambi's palace.
Now you have to go west, south, south, west. Here you'll meet Maple for the first time. Bump into her and quickly grab the rupees. Go west, south, southeast, south and west. Open the door of the building you see here with a bomb. Enter the door to get into the Wing Dungeon.
