Once I'm done mapping out the dungeon I'm working on I can take a look into this game instead for a while. It could be fun to work together on it. --Zaiqukaj 17:31, 27 January 2012 (UTC)
Please do not include spoilers on game pages. The story section should only introduce the start of the story, not summarize the whole game. If you spoil the whole story, no one will read the guide. -- Prod (talk) 23:53, 30 August 2021 (UTC)

* He testifies that he has seen all this through the peephole in which he'll give out his statements for the court! Could this get anymore worse?
What is the point of this edit?  This doesn't help the readers on our site.  You're not an author, and you're not narrating the game.  Your only job here is to try to help readers beat a puzzle.  This extra fluff that you throw in to your guides really lowers the quality.  Not by a little, but by a lot.  You've got to stop doing adding this kind of commentary.  <span style="color:red">Pro</span><span style="color:grey">cyon</span> 15:16, 19 October 2021 (UTC)

Hey Johnny, saw your note to Naj, thought I'd supply an answer.  A lot of stuff happens in Hamlet (it's Shakespeare's longest play) but the core of the story revolves around a Danish prince named Hamlet.  Hamlet's uncle secretly murders his own brother, the king and Hamlet's father, in order to claim the throne.  In addition, he marries Hamlet's mother, so naturally Hamlet plans to avenge his father's death by overthrowing his uncle and ultimately killing him (although he too dies in the end, along with his mom.)  A lot of people feel that Disney's "The Lion King" is kid-friendly version of Hamlet (Scar kills Simba's father Mustafa, Simba grows up, challenges Scar for power and wins).  I haven't played Sakura Wars, so I have no idea how Hamlet relates to the game, but I hope this helps a little bit.  Wikipedia has an article about Hamlet, but it's almost as confusing as the play itself.  By the way, you're doing a great job, don't feel so nervous about the quality of your contributions.  <span style="color:red">Pro</span><span style="color:grey">cyon</span> 05:49, 15 February 2012 (UTC)

Hi Johnny! First off, thanks for helping out with the Great Ace Attorney guides! I appreciated the foundation you provided with the walkthroughs since writing all that out was the most annoying part for me haha. ^^' As for RE6, I actually didn't like that game too much. :( But I loved RE5 and Revelations 2, and I noticed you have the latter in your top ten games! So if you ever wanna collaborate on the Revelations 2 guide, I'm all for it. ^^

Johnny, I really don't wish to embarrass you at all, but reading that you've never heard of Square-Enix is going to shock a lot of people.  They're responsible for some of the greatest RPGs in the history of video games, including Chrono Trigger, the entire Final Fantasy series, the entire Dragon Quest series, among several other popular series like Kingdom Hearts, Parasite Eve, the list goes on and on.  I would recommend that you try searching for them on Google before you post any more about them.  We even have :Category:Square Enix that you could have checked out before you posted.  They are about one of the most famous game developers out there.  Again, I'm totally not trying to make you feel bad, or ridicule you.  I just wanted to help you out a little bit here. <span style="color:red">Pro</span><span style="color:grey">cyon</span> 19:11, 6 March 2012 (UTC)
I also have a Switch though I mainly use it for exclusives, everything else I play on PS4 (I'm not ready to make the jump to PS5 yet lol). I see you have Miku in your top ten too? I hope Sega can give us a new entry in that series soon! I need more!! :Great! I'm currently working on the WarioWare guide so it might be a while until I jump back in, really wish I finished the walkthrough at least while the game was still fresh in my head. XD But I'll definitely get images and everything when I get the chance! :) --<span style="color:Purple">Wario</span><span style="color:Blue">Talk</span> 15:43, 9 November 2021 (UTC)
::Oh you mean those wiki alliances? I agree that a Capcom one would be cool! But I wouldn't have the time/energy/know-how to participate in one haha, so I'm just gonna keep sticking to StrategyWiki. ^^ --<span style="color:Purple">Wario</span><span style="color:Blue">Talk</span> 20:47, 15 November 2021 (UTC)
The Wiki Alliances are brought together by the independent wikis themselves. But unless there are a large number of members, they don't really work out too well. NIWA has a lot going on, but SEIWA is pretty quiet in general. -- Prod (talk) 22:47, 15 November 2021 (UTC)

Images
AoE DE
Those images you found for Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love look great. The full size ones will be perfect for their profile pages. I'll make some cropped head shots for the guide when I get home since I'm leaving the house in a moment. Could you please take a look at our our image policy. It has really good tips on how images work here. Also once I do get back is there any part of the box or manuals you think should be scanned for the guide? I'll try to at least get the front and back of the extras booklet for the front page gallery. --Zaiqukaj 14:59, 15 March 2012 (UTC)
Nice to see someone working on the game, but I'm concerned about how little information you've filled in on the main game page. You should at least fill out the game template. And the TOC is just the default preload without any edits. That implies that the game is so trivial that it only needs just one page. I think we can both agree that the game needs a lot of pages.--Henke37 (talk) 07:44, 11 August 2022 (UTC)
:No worries. Almost everyone will miss something the first time they try to upload an image. That image idea sounds kind of cool. I was thinking it might be good to have little icons of each girl for the dialog results when you loose or gain favor with them. --Zaiqukaj 15:38, 15 March 2012 (UTC)
I moved your images to proper names and categorized them. When you want to use them in the guide, you can find them here. Keep in mind that image names should have the name of the guide or an abbreviation in them. Also, whatever text you add to the summary actually goes into the file page—it's not just an edit summary. That's where a description of the image and the image categories go. == Sakura Wars naming differences ==
Persona 5 Royal
Hi Johnny,
There ToC you need to edit is at Persona 5/Table of Contents. If you need to add walkthrough pages that are the same for both the original and royal, you put them under the Persona 5/Walkthrough section. If they're only relevant to Royal, put them under Persona 5 Royal/Walkthrough. -- Prod (talk) 00:10, 23 November 2022 (UTC)

On Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love/Walkthrough, you added the following under the Secret to Supernova Attack section:

"Special note: This is presuming you own the English version. The Japanese version on the PS2 dual version in terms of names is not available so you have to imagine or translate in your view the version you currently own at the time. Example, Rosita is Rikaritta and Cheiron Archer is Sattinga Weinberg in Japan."

This doesn't make sense to me.  Are you trying to say that the Japanese version does not have the Supernova Attack?  What is the "dual version" of the Japanese PS2 version?  How is the Japanese version, in terms of names, not available?  Your final sentences refer to naming differences... We often create naming differences pages to compare versions, or add the table to the Getting Started page for reference; the location of the table isn't important, but its existence is.  Can you start one for us? -- 19:26, 5 May 2012 (UTC)

:I didn't want you to remove it. I just wanted to know what you were talking about, because it doesn't make any sense.  Can you rephrase it for me, if it is important? It sounded like you were talking about a few different things and you mashed it all together... -- 20:02, 9 May 2012 (UTC)

::I figured you were just trying to talk about naming differences... don't beat around the bush, just say it! Make a table, like so:
::Name 1 English -- Name 1 Japanese<br/>
::Name 2 English -- Name 2 Japanese
::etc.
::That wouldn't have been so hard, eh? -- 15:42, 16 May 2012 (UTC)

Welcome to StrategyWiki![edit]

Hello Johnnyauau2000! Welcome to StrategyWiki. Thank you for your contributions. If you have any questions, just contact a sysop through their talk page or post on the staff lounge, and they'd be happy to help. If you need help editing, check the StrategyWiki Guide. If you have a question about the content on this wiki, you can check out our staff lounge page. If you want to ask questions or hang out in IRC, we're usually around. On the other hand, if you have ideas for StrategyWiki, bring them up on the community portal talk page. Please remember to sign your name on, and only on, talk pages by clicking Wikisigbutton.png or using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Finally, please do your best to always fill in the edit summary field as this helps to document all of your hard work. Feel free to delete this message from your talk page if you like, or keep it for reference. Happy editing! -- The preceding signed comment was added by Rocky (talkcontribs). 01:17, 3 February 2008 (CST)

Spoilers[edit]

Please do not include spoilers on game pages. The story section should only introduce the start of the story, not summarize the whole game. If you spoil the whole story, no one will read the guide. -- Prod (talk) 23:53, 30 August 2021 (UTC)

Edit Quality[edit]

In your recent edit to The Great Ace Attorney: Adventures/Episode 5: The Adventure of the Unspeakable Story/Trial, Part 4, you added (in bold)

 • He testifies that he has seen all this through the peephole in which he'll give out his statements for the court!
