Items dropped by defeated enemies

	Blue Rupee	Dropped by enemies	Counts as 5 Rupees
	Clock	Dropped by enemies	Stuns all enemies on current screen

Dungeon items

	Key	In any dungeon	Each key can open one door, then it is used up.
	Compass	One per dungeon	It shows the location of the Triforce in the current dungeon (maybe the Triforce has a strong magnetic field?).
	Map	One per dungeon	Allows to see the map of the current dungeon.
	Heart container	One per dungeon, five extra ones	Each Heart Container increases your maximum Health Points by one heart.
	Triforce	One per dungeon	All eight Triforce parts are required in order to access the final battle.

	Water of Life (red)	Show letter to old woman	Restores all health, then turns into the blue water of life
	Blue candle	Buy in a shop	Burns trees, lights dark rooms; can be used once per screen
	Red candle	Dungeon 7	Upgraded candle (use repeatedly)
	Ocarina	Dungeon 4	Many effects, including: (1) defeats enemies with big ears; (2) teleports from dungeon to dungeon
	Meat/bait	Buy in shops	Attracts enemies away from you
	Magic wand	Dungeon 6	Attack from distance (without wasting Rupees)
	Magic book	Dungeon 8	Permanently upgrades the magic wand

Permanent items

	Magic shield	Buy in shops for 130 R or 90 R	Upgrades the regular shield and protects from magic shots; not effective against many bosses.
	Raft	Dungeon 3	Allows to cross lakes and gulfs from a pier.
	Ladder	Dungeon 5	Allows to cross narrow (1 tile) streams of water or fire.
	Blue Ring	Buy in shops for 250 R	Doubles your defense, i.e. it halves all damages received.

	Power Bracelet	Beneath an Armos	Allows to move rocks and access new areas.
