Next Level Games Inc. is a full-service third-party video game developer based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Founded in October 2002, Next Level Games specializes in creating console video games. Its first project was NHL Hitz Pro, which was published by Midway Games. Since then, it also has worked with Nintendo on the Mario Strikers series.
On January 9, 2014, the studio announced that it would work exclusively with Nintendo from then on. On January 4, 2021, Nintendo announced that they had purchased Next Level Games pending shareholder and regulatory approval.
