In this level you have to run towards the screen while being chased by a huge snowball. You must avoid being caught or you will immediately lose a life. Along the way you will encounter various obstacles, such as gaps to overcome, electric fences or explosive springs which, although not lethal, will make you waste precious time. Luckily, you'll also find some special green arrows on the ground, which will give you a sharp boost. Occasionally the snowball chasing you will stop, either getting stuck at a tunnel entrance or falling off a wooden bridge. However, soon a new snowball will start chasing you again, until the end.
About halfway along the way, just after finding the crystal, there is a bonus area, which contains a small pitfall. There is in fact a double row of boxes suspended on the void; the lower one of the bouncing type. You have to break them all while avoiding falling if you want to get the gem.
Getting the gem[edit]
To get a clear gem in this level it is enough to break all the boxes, including those in the bonus area. Most are very easy to break (Nitro boxes will automatically be destroyed by the snowball), but just before the end of the level there are some boxes behind electrified fences. You have to be very quick to destroy them with a spin before the snowball reaches you. So try to build up a good lead along the way to make it feasible.
